hope everyone is having a great day , oil jars and or Fire wyvern is the best way to tame this , some needs traps but hurt it with oil jar and or fire wyvern.
Telling best way is with parasaurus the searching one without for being faster hahahahah

You dont need that much of a big trap. You only need 12 walls (single door frame) , 1 ceiling (hatchframe) and a foundation. My version of Nooblet's trap. Also during heatwave if you have a fire wyvern just fire at the phoenix and initiate the taming bar to track the phoenix. You dont need the parasaur then as you can track the phoenix after heatwave as well .

i use a boela, drop to ground with it, place foundation next to it wall ceiling tile and four walls around ceiling tile. and then start lobbing oil jars on ground... more oil jars faster tame. done in one heat wave. if you have tek binoculars you can mark it and it will show up de spawned to.
This is probably the one tame that you can do so many way ..some folks believe wyvern to be the best and your Bola method makes me feel i need to do some testing ..lol Thanks for the tip. Join us on discord the link is on every video and stream.
@@solozerogaming yup, for every oil jar you throw down it increasing the speed of taming. 4 walls set to door frames. one ceiling tile. and one foundation, i put mine on my hot bar when taming to make the switch faster, you dont have much time to do it.

the time to phoenix going up put a trap door and he stay up all the time and you can use jaroil
Make a 1 by 1 and make it 6 walls high and enclose it around. Wait for it to emerge and then trap it on the 5th wall then make a platform for you wyvern to sit on then breath.
Yeah if done that also used flamers it all works. I for some strange reason like using a compound bow and fire arrows. I dont even know why ..lol just like it
Why didn't u burn it with fire wyvern? Last I knew that was best way to do it
its not ASe anymore and my fire wyvern will run out of stam making me wait and lossing time on the Heatwave. In ASe we normally did it with 2 Fire wyverns. its not necessarily the best
@solozerogaming we use to put a platform off side park fire wyvern fire spam. Jump off fire arrows while he got Stam back

@@solozerogaming fir wyvern gives so much more % i used a 525 flamthrower and oil jars and got to 50% before it broke and was getting .1% per tick fire wyver was giving like 4% per breath fires are 100% the best thing to do was so much faster
oil jars... more oil jars you throw on ground under it. the faster it tames.
wish we knew the server settings, cause the most burning question is how much we actually need

Yeah could very well be but they are hard to find and after 1 heat wave they wont be stuck anymore they will be somewhere else.
For some reason I have checked every point that you have marked on the map and couldn't find one can they spawn anywhere else
They are super hard to find. Also Could be stuck on the ground half meshed. are you on single player or server? if single player do wild dino wipe to see if it helps. Stop by some time and live stream and ill show you some good spots to check
One thing that may not have been mentioned.. the Phoenix has a higher probably of spawning in certain areas, like near red obby. However, the Phoenix will fly around and will respawn where it fell at the end of the last heatwave. After a few HW's of flying around, it could be anywhere on the map. Often going to the outer part of the map/desert area.

Anyone watching, they can spawn anywhere around the desert area and theres ONE always on the map. Hope this helps
in ASA there will now be 2 on the map during super heat wave
u dont need to build a trap that big man you can make a much smaller and easier trap then that obs the location was not that great tho
