    By the way, there's nothing Mongolian about this heavily sauced beef. Just a marketing thing the chinese came up to sell the dish more. Mongolians do not use sauce in their food, their meat is naturally delicious and do not need to be flavored with thick sauces to bring rubber-like meat any taste.

      Yes, I am aware of that. But the dish is called what it's called. I can't change that. I found that recipe, it looked interesting enough to cook and eat. ;) I usually read up where certain dishes originate from. I mean it the same with e.g Tikka Masala. I wouldn't call that Indian cuisine per se.

      LUCKY. The "city" I live in now is short of thoise kinds of places. Well Finland in general I suppose. Maybe the major cities have some. But I just saw a new Malaysian/Nepalese place open up. need to give that a try.

    I use more basmati with my chinese dishes as well unless I make something that I really want to eat with some traditional jasmine

      I would've like a more glutinous rice , but basmati is what I had. But sticky rice would've been a better match with this. Especially with the chop sticks. 🤣

      @@DaveKayASMR if it's not sushi I prefer the lighter fluffier basmati myself because I like a good rice to flavor proportion what you made looks so tasty and flavorful i'm sure I'd accompany it with a ton of rice! As for chopsticks, always eat rice from a bowl! Then u just scarf it down like Pei Mei from Kill Bill haha

      Thought about it many times, but came to the conclusion that my inexperience with eating this types of food with hands would be an ungodly sight and probably not enjoyable to watch. ;)

    lol, i'm asian and with that type of rice (maybe it's basmati or jasmine), i would use a spoon to eat it.
    when the rice is stickier (as there's different types of rice), the rice tends to stick together more and it's easier to eat with chopsticks but even then i still use a spoon for rice unless it's proper glutinous rice (the stickiest).

      Yeah I know. I used basmati and washed out all the starch to. I was cooked perfectly, just not chop stick worthy. 😉
