  • Action for Alice founder Darren Clark says every time a federal or state politician visits Alice Springs, the children causing damage on the streets disappear.
Mr Clark said he describes it on his Facebook page as “cleaning the streets”.
“It is just unbelievable to watch,” he told Sky News host Andrew Bolt.
“The Australian has been here this weekend, and they have seen it.”

@redbullVodka it's a lot worse than the video mate, most aboriginal Australians are good people unfortunately for 15 years the government, judges and police have been scared of being called racist by a few activists and the media looking for a story, I used to go to Cairns,Townsville and Mossman in far north Queensland all the time until 15 years ago when almost overnight the police were told not to arrest aboriginal criminals and ignore aboriginal crime, after dark and now in the daytime it's like a bad Hollywood movie, Look up interviews with Jacinta Price a very intelligent and articulate woman she has been trying to stop the crime for years

@BoxAroo The truth of Australia Day
This is information that all Australians need to know. Especially those that believe it has to do with how anybody was treated.
People should learn the true facts before opening their mouth to spew falsehood.
This information was authored by Peter Lee - it should be taught to all Australians.
'Below is the reason Australia day is celebrated on 26 January
Here are the Facts about Australia Day but don’t expect the media to educate you with these facts as it is not part of their agenda
      1. Australia Day does not celebrate the arrival of the first fleet or the invasion of anything
      2. Captain Cook did not arrive in Australia on the 26th January. The landing of Captain Cook in Sydney happened on the 28th April 1770 - not on 26th January.
      3. The first fleet arrived in Botany Bay on 18th January. The 26th was chosen as Australia Day for a very different and important reason.
The 26th of January is the day Australians received their independence from British Rule. However, Captain Cook’s landing was included in Australian bi-centenary celebrations of 1988 when Sydney-siders decided Captain Cook’s landing should become the focus of the Australia Day commemoration.
Sadly the importance of this date for all Australians has begun to fade and now a generation later, it is all but lost. The media as usual is happy to twist the truth for the sake of controversy.
Captain Cook didn’t land on the 26th January, so changing the date of any celebration of Captain Cook’s landing would not have any impact on Australia Day, but maybe it would clear the way for the truth about Australia Day.
Australians of today abhor what was done under British governance to the Aborigines, the Irish and many other cultures around the world. So after the horrors of WW11, we decided to try and fix it. We became our own people.
On 26th January 1949, the Australian nationality came into existence when the Nationality and Citizenship Act 1948 was enacted. That was the day we were first called Australians and allowed to travel with passports as Australians and NOT British subjects.
In 1949 therefore, we all became Australian citizens under the Nationality and Citizenship Act 1948.
Before that special date, all people living in Australia, including Aborigines, were called ‘British Subjects’ and forced to travel on British passports and fight in British wars.
This is why we celebrate Australia Day on the 26th January. This was the day Australians became free to make our own decisions about which wars we would fight and how our citizens would be treated. It was the day we were all declared Australians.
Until this date,Aborigines were not protected by law For the first time since Captain Cook’s landing this new Act gave Aboriginal Australians the full protection of Australian Law.
This is why 26th January is the day new Australians receive their citizenship It is a day which celebrates the implementation of the Nationality of Citizenship Act of 1948 -The Act which gave freedom and protection to the first Australians and gives all Australians, old and new, the right to live under the protection of the Australian Law”, united as one nation.
What was achieved that day is something for which all Australians can be proud.
Isn’t it time therefore that all Australians were taught the real reason we celebrate Australia Day on 26th January? In one way or another, we are ALL descendants of Australia ALL OF US. So we should ALL be celebrating and giving thanks for the freedoms, the lifestyles and opportunities that we currently enjoy, thanks to the strengths and battles of our ancestors.'

    The truth of Australia Day
This is information that all Australians need to know.
PASS THIS INFORMATION ON TO ALL YOUR FAMILIES AND FRIENDS

After reading quite a few posts on this topic, about 15 years ago the Rudd/Gillard government arrangements with police and judges all over Australia was not to arrest or convict aboriginal criminal behaviour police and judges were told it was racist as the aboriginal people represented a large proportion of inmates, deaths in custody and they were victims, this situation in Alice Springs and a lot of other towns and cities across Australia is a result of the media 13 years ago saying Australia is a racist country that treats the aboriginal people like south Africa treated the African people so the Labor government response was not to arrest criminals, Jacinta Price has been trying to say this for years

    • @voxac30withstrat
      @voxac30withstrat Год назад +1

The statistics for deaths in custody was 27% Indigenous. I wonder who the other 73% were or don't they matter?
When closely investigated the VAST majority of that 27% were natural causes or as one would expect in prisons, violence, and that was a small percentage of that 27%. Each of those violent deaths must be examined as to what happened. But then that might ruin the narrative that activists and media are spouting mightn't it? Yes I'm looking at you ABC.

During the pandemic I found myself asking questions
of myself in the quiet solitary moments. The paradox
of what I personally witnessed in First Nations communities of the far north and Kimberley was not lost on me.
    Two centuries ago, we whitefellas
brought Smallpox, Syphilis, Leprosy and Influenza to
this Great Southern Land. These epidemics wiped out
millions, and despite being easily cured and treated
they are still endemic in the Far North, while few of us
whitefellas even know, and some don’t care.
But now we have our own plague, our healthy happy
bubble has been burst, we are now living in fear, we are
now stressed by the instigations of laws, rules and some
panic. State Governments, Federal Governments and
politicians jostle for power and control. We are now the ones subject to the whims of others, we are now the ones
being controlled and following orders of the system. How
    IRONIC can life be?

I think it's time that aboriginals classed themselves as human beings like the rest of us and not as a special group of people. Has making them special made any difference to their outcomes? Doing welcome to country before any discussion or acknowledging ad nauseum that they were here first, having the divisive slogan always was always will be? All it's done is separate them as different people and given them a sense of entitlement and victimhood. And made no difference to their hopeless situation.

Australia wasn't stolen it was conquered, aboriginals however won the lottery, the conquerors are the most advanced people on the planet and everybody is treated as equals. Had the aboriginals been conquered by any of the neighbouring countries around them I assure you if any aboriginals survived at all they would be treated far worse for far longer. The aboriginal “problem “ will never be addressed properly
Unless they talk to the British consistently about it .
    I don’t see it happening.
It takes persistence and a love for humanity at the political level for it to happen.
It takes a special individual dedicating their whole entire existence to push through the slow political processes to get the funding , media backing , culture to come alive.
Sadly , no one has time for it nowadays .
