- The Australian’s Media Writer Sophie Elsworth says the ABC’s report on the Alice Springs town meeting was “hugely embarrassing” for the public broadcaster.
“They’ve smeared the Alice Springs community as if it’s laden with white supremacists - it was just absolutely outrageous,” she told Sky News host Chris Kenny.

For being an only son of an emigrant settler’s family to Australia I believe I am entitled to a right to publicly call upon all non indigenous Australians across the Australian landscape to join my call to rescue the EUREKA FLAG from Australia’s historical dark and give the EUREKA FLAG a new light of day by having it posted alongside the already three flag display now being posted in Australia’s National Parliament.
Why? So the EUREKA FLAG can become an emigrants settlers identity flag displayed in a state of equality with the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islands identity flags now currently posted in the three flag only display assembly posted in Australia’s National Parliament.
The posting of the EUREKA FLAG in the parliament would expand the three flag parliamentary flag display to a four flag parliamentary display to make the flag display in Australia’s National Parliament politically correct.
The posting of the EUREKA FLAG to become the emigrant settler citizens identity flag is quite frankly not an altogether stupid idea.
The EUREKA FLAG made of woven cloth and stitched together by needle and cotton by the hands of emigrant settlers is truthfully the very first emigrant settlers flag posted in Australia.
The EUREKA FLAG of 1854 is the carrier of the🩸blood stains of 27 emigrant settlers who were murdered by the Crown.
I want all non indigenous Australians to appreciate that you are staring at your right to stand up for principle.
This is the principle.
If the Australian Parliament thinks it is appropriate and good enough to post only two indigenous identity flags in a three flag posting in your National Parliament House then equally your Parliament should also find it appropriate and good enough to post and allow an emigrant settlers flag to be posted alongside the current three flag display in your Parliament House.
And that citizens identity flag can only ever be the first EUREKA FLAG.
