Not sure if it was mentioned in previous vids but all the miracles and the 2 main players in Jabberwock are named in relation to their hair color: Ki= yellow Midori= green Ao= Blue Aka= red Murasaki= purple Kuro= black/shadow Momo= Pink Nash "Gold" and Jason "Silver" are obvious. Kagami means mirror to reflect off or Kuroko or some shit, but he's the only one not color related afaik. Ka= fire though so idk if thats related. STRKY is the initials of the high school names of all the players (Shotoku, Touou, Rakuzan, Kaijo, Yosen) and Vorpal sword is the weapon that slays the Jabberwock monster in the "Alice in wonderland" novel.
Yes, "Monkeys" is a racial slur towards Japanese people too, or to be more specific "Yellow Monkeys". Man, it always amuse when people mistake Nash with Kise XD, some even joked calling him "Evil Kise" lmao! I love the animation in this, I don't care how obviously evil these guys are, I'm here to see the Miracles play together again like close comrades and to see them kickin asses! The moment Jabberwock spit on Kasamatsu's hand I was ready to throw hands with them! NO ONE DISRESPECTS THE GREATEST AND BEST CAPTAIN! You know what I like about Kuroko despite it might looking reckless in a way? Guy is not intimidated by anyone, fuck all if he's the "physically weaker" of the Raibow crew, also, you don't piss Kuroko off! Akashi is still an Emperor in my eyes, that Engrish!
i think monkeys is a racial slur to all races lol. ive seen it used towards all kinds of people. But I don't think the monkey insult was meant to be racial in this anime.
The events in the beginig takes place 1 year before the main story started, the events in the movie 6-7 moths after the end of the winter cup. Silver is 210 cm, 2 cm taller than Mursakibara. He is also considered to be stronger than Murasakibara, faster than Aomine, and can jum higher than Kagami. BTW Ono Kensho, Kuroko's Voice Actor, got Married this week, congratulations to him!
Yes, the first two minutes was a flashback, when Kagami came to Japan, he came in second year of middleschool (or something like that, he even said that in the first episode, I think), and graduated in Japan, that was a little peep into his "boredom", before he met Kuroko and Seirin's team ^^. And everyone thinks first, that yellow haired guy (his name is Nash Gold Jr, btw) is Kise :D He's looks like Kise a little bit, but he's got a tatto on his left arm. AND... there is a HyugaxRiko shipper too yey ^-^
And now we're here. Very excited!! The intro is Kagami coming to Japan from the US in middle school. They did it this way just so people who've never seen KnB could get some relative context and then the themes follow suit.
I think thats kagami after transferring from america, just a little flashback on how he started in japan and what he thinks of japans basketball, since this movie revolves on the difference between western and eastern basketball. he is still in middle school i guess, probably last of the year or two, since his first year in highschool is with seirin guys and he looks younger in that flashback. Then back to present with kuroko behind him.
Beginning was Kagami in Middle School and then it switched to present day Kagami, with Kuroko using him as a sun shade (which as a short ass I happily do to everyone taller than me too). As to the names for the teams (Jabberwock and Vorpal Swords) Alice in Wonderland was one of my favourite books as a kid so I loved the references to it. And the senpais team, STRKY, is for the high schools each player belonged to. Loved seeing Hyuga and Riko on their date, and the brief glimpse of Kiyoshi in America. Can't wait for more. Also you should watch the bloopers made for each season and the movie (Kuroko no Basket: NG Shuu). They're hilarious.
It doesn't matter if you're thumbnail indicates this is only Part 1 of the movie, you still need to add Part 1 in to the title of this video as well since people might not look at the thumbnail to see you cut the movie into parts with your current title.
Bruh the movie started with a 5-10mins flashback of Kagami's middle school life 🤣🤣🤣 I mean its so obvious my guy, look at that boy face its to chubby and his eyes were abit rounder than the usual muscular face and sharper eyes that we know of.
This may sound exaggeration but those guys are even worse in the manga (Silver pretty much "ripping girls in half" every night). Also Gold talks to the girl covering the match and he actually acts nice and cool making the disrespect later so much worse.
In the manga Silver tried to harass a female interviewer but Gold stepped in and scold him, Nash may be a bully but at least he's a gentleman with girls.
I never undertood the timeline of the movie. Because in the manga didn't kagami said he just came back from america? and if he graduated from middle school in Japan, he must know the gom then?.
Sorry that I ask this in an Kuroko no Basket video but are your Haikyuu videos sub or dub because that anime exists also in dub so could you please answer to me?
This is a multi-part reaction, right? (I'm assuming so because it said TBC at the end, but the fact that it doesn't explicitly say "Part 1" or something similar is throwing me off)
There are several reasons why Kagami shouldn't go to America and stay in Japan : 1. The ending is not in the sequel manga KNB : Extra Game. It's not CANON ending. Kagami never left Japan, according to the manga. 2. He wanted to be the best player in Japan. 3. He never wanted to be a NBA player. 4. Kagami is a team player. He can't do shit without Kuroko and Seirin. Duh the series constantly remind us that Kuroko is shadow to his light. 5. It's totally out of character for Kagami. He became a massive team player at the end of the series. 6. This movie spend an hour trying to proof that Japanese basketball in worthwhile and tried to stop American enemy. And then send one of the main protagonist in America like "I'm ditching Japanese basketball to play in America"...... Slap in the face to everything that was done up until now within the course of this damn series and film. You proofed Japanese basketball was dope, but you're gonna join the enemy!!!! TRAITOR!!!! 7. And last Kagami isn't that great. He's a team player and he can't do shit without his team. Seirin beat the GOM, not Kagami alone. He only beat one GOM by his own and that was Murasakibara. When they played against Kise in the semi-final of Winter Cup, they admitted that they couldn't beat him. Midorima squashed Kagami in that summer camp one on one game at the parking lot. Aomine took 5 seconds to smoke out Kagami when he was giving him his shoes before the semi-finals of Winter Cup. And Akashi.... Forget it... Seirin as a whole got smoked out when they faced Akashi.... If anyone should be recruited in NBA, then it should be those five...
The end of the movie is canon because it is the author of Kuroko Basket who wrote the scenario of the movie so he wanted to give a sad end with the departure of Kagami for USA to become an NBA player and who leaves Kuroko to finally conclude the manga and anime
@@loicbibenda9207 The manga author clearly said that HE DIDN'T MIND THE ENDING OF THE MOVIE, but still... the ending isn't canon cause that's not what he wrote in the spin-off manga.

He probably won't since he posted the movie in parts as well on his patreon account (before he took those videos down) and it'll stress him out if he tries to combine all parts on to a single reaction video.
@@hydropumpsquirtle Yeah but my point is he can put all 4 or 5 parts (depend on he cut the videos) in one day. Meaning he can post 5 part videos in one day because this is a movie. A "movie".

I have several reasons why I'll defend Production IG's decision 1. The manga ending after the game finished sucked ass because the mangaka was rushing to get it over with to write his failed golf manga 2. I feel him leaving is more appropriate. He completed what he set out to do and more in terms of beating the gen & then helping them come together again. Thematically it really was the last game & there wasn't a point to him staying. 3. Kagami's character is always about the next & greater challenge, and that was in America. 4. Rewatching Episode 5 you'll see Kise say that Kagami & Kuroko would part ways one day, so the fact that this DOES happen at the very very end but in the best possible way is just quality magic to me. I appreciate what production IG did here
