Antique Treasure Hunt - Braving the Chill in Eymet
Our treasure-hunting adventures stop for nothing-not even sub-zero temperatures! This week, we ventured to the charming town of Eymet, where a small but bountiful brocante delivered some delightful surprises. The cold was no match for our dedication to uncover hidden gems. As a well-earned reward for braving the frosty weather, Richard enjoyed a hearty hot roast meal, making the chilly outing all the more worthwhile.
Piękne rzeczy. Nasze klimaty.
Dziękujemy za miłe słowa! Cieszymy się, że prezentowane przez nas przedmioty trafiają w Twój gust. To wspaniale łączyć się z widzami, którzy podzielają nasze upodobania. Serdeczne pozdrowienia,
What a great market.Greetings from Surfers paradise.
"Thank you! It really was a fantastic market-so much to see, taste, and enjoy. Greetings right back to you from beautiful Saint-Émilion! We have fond memories of Surfers Paradise-such a stunning part of the world. Hope you're enjoying some sunshine and sea breezes! ☀️🌊✨"
Hello, randomly came across your lovely vlog. Fabulous market to go round and beautiful things to be seen, thank you for taking us. Could i make one polite suggestion... Please could you slow down a little when going along the tables etc, it was a bit too fast and move back a little. Bit difficult to see when you were going along and makes you a feel a bit dizzy. But what you've shown us was very interesting and of course like all t.v. shopping we "spent" lots of money 😂 many thanks.
Thank you for your kind words and for sharing your feedback on our vlog. We're thrilled that you enjoyed exploring the market with us and found the items showcased intriguing. We apologize for any discomfort caused by the camera movement. Your suggestion to slow down and provide a wider view when filming the tables is invaluable. My only excuse what it was freezing that day and I was hurried, I slowed the footage down as much as possible :) Please check out our previous video, thanks again for the feedback.
Love it when u brocante shop or markets from Queensland
"Thank you so much! We absolutely love exploring brocantes and markets-there’s always a treasure waiting to be found! 🏺✨ Sending warm wishes from France to beautiful Queensland! Have you found any great vintage pieces there?"
France has the best antique thrifts in the world! Filming hint….zoom out a bit as the footage seems quite zoomed in. A wider field angle with slower movement makes for better vision without the audience getting dizzy 🥴 My mom had a lambs wool coat like you got from your friend. So fun watching this 😊
Thank you for your delightful comment! We couldn't agree more-France truly offers some of the world's best antique markets, and we're thrilled to share these treasures with you. We appreciate your constructive feedback regarding our filming style. To enhance your viewing experience, we'll work on zooming out to provide a wider field of view and slowing down our camera movements to ensure clearer, more comfortable visuals. My only excuse was it was freezing that day so I was a little hurried, please check out our other videos. It's wonderful to hear that your mom had a lambswool coat similar to mine, it was such a brilliant find. Such pieces carry timeless charm and sentimental value.
@@byrontobordeaux 😊🥰🥶
Don’t swing about too fast it can be dizzying . Thanks ❤
Move the camera slower; it makes people dizzy.
Thank you Pam for your constructive feedback, we will work on slowing down our camera movements to ensure clearer more comfortable visuals. Please check out our other videos
How much did you know about french architectural styles and antiques before you moved to France? Regardless of the starting point, I'm sure your knowledge has grown exponentially since you have lived there. The markets are fascinating compared to Aussie ones.
Nice to hear from you Cheryl, before moving to France, our knowledge of French architectural styles and antiques was fairly limited. We had a general appreciation for their beauty but lacked in-depth understanding. Since relocating, our immersion in the rich history and culture has indeed expanded our knowledge exponentially.
We agree that French markets offer a unique charm compared to those in Australia. The blend of history, art, and daily life creates an atmosphere that's both captivating and inspiring. It's been a joy to share these experiences with our audience, and we're thrilled to hear that you find them engaging.
What date was this market? Looks like maybe in December. Was it their regular Thursday market or Sunday? Is it always this big? I loved attending with you! I would have purchased a lot of items. Incredible stuff.
Thank you for your enthusiastic comment! The market featured in our video took place on Sunday late December. Honestly it was my first Sunday Brocante in Eymet and we were very impressed by the turn out of treasures on such a cold day. I would have purchased more however Richard has me on a budget haha!
