Can't decide whether it was the wrong song for him ......or whether they had the wrong singer singing it? I'm giving him the benefit of the doubt, and will say 'right singer - wrong song'. He had a good voice, but the song didn't really 'showcase' it properly.
Imo Denmark should be at the top of the non-qualifiers list. Saba's voice is easily the best of those countries that didnt make the Grand Final. Solid song, great voice......so what went wrong?? .... probably the fact that she was statuesque behind the mic. Had she not been on a platform, she would have been able to move around on stage more.....and would then have connected with the audience more - this is very important! That you connect with the audience. She sang it as if the arena was empty. That's my reasoning as to why she, and Denmark didn't make the Grand Final. But tiy can't fault her singing. It was excellent. Poor staging, and being hamstrung by being stuck in a platform, did it for Denmark. In the end this cost them a grand final appearance.
Malta, Belgium and Poland should've qualified. I know Mustii's and Luna's vocal performance wasn't great, but it wasn't horrible either (like Austria or Australia).
Ok here's my ranking with commentary because we got many undeserving NQs!!! 11. San Marino: this hurts me because it was in my top 10, I LOVE THE SONG and the staging was great, but the vocals killed any chances! Cyprus 2022 flashbacks 😭 10. Belgium: only a fan of the outro and that part was the messiest to me 😭 too much needless screaming 9. Denmark: it's ok. 8. Albania: love the outfit! Idk, overall it was fine 7. Poland: the staging didn't match the song at all but I loved the "Luna on a horse" effect and how it wasn't too much "Polandified" like Luxembourg 6. Azerbaijan: great staging, despite having this song last. Gives me 2019 staging flashbacks but upgraded 5. Iceland: underrated! She deserved to qualify!!! 4. Australia: same as above 3. Czechia: I admit I prefer the original than the revamp. It was a great improvement! 2. Moldova: that staging ELEVATED the song!!! Although I wanted to see her clones 1. Malta: THE MOST UNDESERVING NQ THIS YEAR AND HOW TF DID SHE PLACE LAST IN HER SF??? TF??? WTF??? THIS WOULD'VE BEEN TOP 10 IN ANY OTHER YEAR!!!

@@robtyman4281 IMO Mustii had a very good song but on a live performance he messed it up a little. Original song was much better :)
