Thank you so much for being helpful . I’ve been watching your videos for a long time 😊. Do you have a subscription or study guides for the ati teas 7 test ?
this was so amazing, i know the muscles so much better because of this video. Studying for my practical and this was by far a great knowledgeable video
I very rarely comment on videos, but I want to personally say thank you. Thank you so much for having these videos. I am currently a student at SCF and I am not doing well. All of your videos are helping me greatly understand what I am learning. Again, Thank you.
These are the models my college is using. Thanks so much for posting this. I have limited time in class to view our models (6 wk course) so this really helped!
I have this practical exam today 🙏🏽 Thanks for your help. Your voice is very soothing and your style of teaching enables me to memorize the muscles so much better.
I am so nervous about takinh my practical but after wathing your videos I feel much more confident for it. Thank you so much for making amazing videos to help students study!!
Thank you so much I just found your channel, this is so helpful in my lab we have the models but do not get to use them to this helps tremendously actually having a professor point out the muscles.. THANK YOU SOO MUCH!!
Excellent teaching! Could you do a video on the muscles of the heart?. Also on terms like agonist, antagonist and which muscles are engaged during flexion vs. extension
Maybe at some point. I do teach a deeper version in a clinical anatomy class. It won't be until after break though. I'm ready to thoroughly enjoy the next few weeks off!
Thank you so much for your video! I have tried to search for several videos to try to remember the muscle, but it doesn’t work well. I only got a PowerPoint from my teacher. Literally, If I can learn by myself through just go through the pictures, and no one teach me, why should I pay for the school fee?☹️ I know be an colleges student need more independent, but is that should means no one teaches me?
Hello... They aren't muscles that we cover in our lab. There are quite a few other muscles that aren't included in this series. The videos are made specifically based off of what my A and P class focuses on. It shouldn't be to hard to learn a few more in addition to these!
Hi... If you look at my playlist for Anatomy and physiology I Lab, you will see all the videos for muscles. There is one that includes muscles of the arm. Do you mean do I teach any online classes?
Hi guys, I'm off to a cocktail party in a bit. So I've only got 8mins 27secs to show you and name all the individual leg muscles! A very clever women indeed!
Great video! Very likeable way of learning anatomy! I've got a question, just to make sure. "Flexor digitorum - just used to flex the foot at the ankle". Isn't the function of the flex. digitorum muscle to flex the toes? If it did make a movement at the ankle, it would eventually be extension (=plantarflexion) and not flexion (like dorsal flexion as shown in the video). Thanks for clarification. And keep up the good work ;)
Yes... You are correct. Hence the name digitorum and the long tendons you see running down the foot. At times the brain and mouth don't communicate well. Especially after talking for hours :). I do need to update at some point.
I think regarding foot, when you say flexion and extension, it is opposite. When you flex the foot, the phalanges should go downward, and vice versa if I understand the book right. So the name of flexor digitorum matchs the meaning of flex the phalanges.
@@jessiemao5992 Hello.... Flexion can apply to any joint including the foot at the ankle or the phalanges at the metatarsals... Flexing the foot at the ankle is raising the top of the foot up so the toes end up pointing upward (its most accurately called dorsiflexion because its the dorsal side of the foot flexing upward). The flexor digitorum and extensor digitorum are referring to the joint at the phalanges ("digits").
@@jessiemao5992 So, when you flex the foot, the phalanges go upward. When you flex the digits, the phalanges go downward. It just depends on what joint is actually flexing.
@@teachmeaandp335 I see. Thanks for the detailed explanation, now I understand it more accurately that when you say flexion or extension, has to consider which joint is regarded.
Hi... There are a few videos taken in the Lecture portion of the muscular system. They cover the actual muscle cell, the thin filaments, thick filaments, sarcomere, etc. If that is what you are referring to, look for "The Muscular System" playlist.
