Wow. I've only heard of these girls 20 minutes ago and already I feel like they've sold out and ruined themselves. I mean, here they are, on their way to becoming a truly kick-ass rock band, but now they seem to have decided to use studio tricks and backing tracks instead of just becoming a better live band. They could have been as good as their recordings, but judging from the music show "performances" I could find, they either aren't, or don't feel like they can do it live on national TV. That's too bad. They really seem like they could have learned to be a great rock band, if they had only kept working at it. Their new stuff really just seems like more of the same corporate manufactured music.

PS: Which is not to say that this recording right here is great fecking rock. It really is. These girls should be awful proud of their chops. But if they try to compete with Twice and Mamamoo on the level of slick mass-produced music, what do they have to make them stand out? They will lose. They should be trying to stand out on the fact they they can rock as good as anybody including even Seo Taji's band. What they could do different from nearly everyone else in Korea is be an actual, amazing live band. No one is really doing that, are they?

hi. just came across this video and comment. been following this band for 2 years. love them. you are only partially correct. yes live TV in korea is crap. they will not even let the ladies play "live". it's a crappy system and I don't believe the ladies are overly happy about it. BUT I flew to Korea in Dec 2022 just to see them live. yep I am that crazy. to be honest I was a little worried about how a live show would be. managed to get front row 2 feet away from Arem. this show turned into one of the best concert experiences of my life. they played live and did an amazing job. complete with just enough fuck ups that you knew it was a genuine performance. don't let the tv show crap sour you on this band. they are very charming and entertaining live. and at heart they are a rock band trying to survive in a kpop world. personally I think they need to get their butts over here to north America.

@@Derekcstevenson I agree, America is the place if you want to be a real rock band like they apparently do. So I see what you're saying, I shouldn't blame these kids for the fact that they live in an amazingly patriarchal and rigid society like Korea. That's a good point.
