Friends....quality over quantity is the way to go. As an introvert myself that's all I need, and being a little sporty and training in some groups is a good way to slowly see who they really are. Work folks might be rewarding for some, but I try to keep them as work mates, and I have found that to be quite healthy in the long run.

Hey Obi! I can relate, I'm an introvert myself. I have problems making friends also, but I find it comforting to do things I like doing rather than nothing. Like cooking, for instance, relaxes me. But anyhow, it was fun seeing you outside riding again. But my question is, how do you get the footage so perfect? This is something I always wanted to ask you.
I use my iphone! I know bikers use Go pro and i also have insta 360 which is great and also 4K
Completely relate to what you are saying Obi, as a 50 something I find it hard to make friends and also even though I go to the gym I find working out on my own is better as I'm primarily there to do and not sit and talk. Might be me being closed off but that's me. I have a handful of close friends but have decided to like yourself have a large circle of friends as I want to be true to myself and have the friends that accept me for me

Another good way to meet good people is to take a friendly dog for a walk, at an outdoor location you'd like your friends to enjoy. The dog can be from the animal shelter or belong to a friend. The dog is an ice-breaker, and observing how people interact with the two of you can reveal a lot about them.

Great advice on meeting new friends! Definitely do meetups related to healthy hobbies. I've met great people through biking, climbing, martial arts and car guys (AKA petrolheads in the UK) a lot of whom I still chat with and meet up in person with after 20 years even if we live in other areas of the country. If you WFH like many of us do, it's important to get out, especially as an introvert!

It does feel like it's harder to make solid friends the older you get, and I'm aware that I'm not necessarily old (I'm 21), but I even feel the that people are like more guarded. It's nice in a way hearing you talk about it. For me, gym is like the main and often only place I have any interacts tbh.

I travel a lot (really a lot) and use a small version of this suitcase for years. It may have som bumpers because nobody (incl me) handled it with care. Also they changed after couple years the rollers and now after around ten we need to change the handle bit of the telescope handle (all for free as a service). It’s really a great piece of travel equipment.
I need to get the medium size but i have a hard time packing light! 😂

It’s not cringe man, it’s the truth. I found that some people just don’t know how to function when a genuine friendship is presented. People get so use to chasing others who don’t necessarily want a friendship or anything outside of what may have already been given. When the tables turned they can’t take it or ignore good people. Trust me I’ve found that just being who I am folks naturally want me in their presence and enjoy me for the whole me. Translate that into 2023 my friend circle is small but secure!

You should wear ur glasses over the helmet straps just in case u fall ( ihope u dont) those sunglasses cant hurt your eyes if u hit against something and they get trapped on ur helmet - face, if u have them over the straps they will fly away from your and wont nail any possible piece of glass on you

Have you noticed any muscle loss through cycling. I'm a pretty serious weightlifter and I have just started cycling. Everyone tells me it will run any muscle I have. Is that true
As long as you are in caloric surplus or maintenance and weight lift then you shouldn’t be losing any size it just means you have to eat ALOT more :)
