The silliness of Buss it Down at the end is SO REAL. Along with Worth It, where she declares that someone can "be her glass of wine" after earlier in the album relying so heavily on the actual substances, its SOO cathartic to hear after all of the shit we go through in the earlier parts of the album.
Theyre not throwaway because theyre happier, theyre AMAZING.
She deserves the fun happiness of them.

How I felt seen and understood in “Ice Cream Man” over the sexual abuse and rape I experienced when I was just a boy really hits home right now, and made that song so powerful for me. I’m in a much better place now (and have basically had one of the biggest glow ups I’ve ever experienced - if I do say so myself), so it doesn’t upset me as much as it used to, but it still sits there in the back of my mind.

Escapism just hits so HARD it’s insane!!!
It’s hits so many different spots, it’s incredible.
The production goes so hard you almost forgot how sad the lyrics are.
I had never listened to anything she'd done before except for her featuring on "You Don't Know Me", but I was intrigued by her story. Now I literally cannot stop listening to this album, it's so special, and it's truly a declaration of profound love for music but also for her public. I have a feeling she is going to be huge, much more than she would ever have been, had she stayed with that label. I can't wait to see what she does next!

It makes you wonder how many other absolutley stunning artists are hiding out there! I heard its because they don't want big competition with their big artists, so they just sign people to not let them sing.

I just love how cohesive and flowy this album is it’s also so balanced as well, truly a masterpiece. Also you always bring it with these reactions and I love it, really makes me feel validated in how into these songs and albums I get.

this album is so fucking special and incredible and deserves all the recognition. I totally agree with you when you say her love for music is so visceral in each track. It just feels so authentic and intentional and I respect her so much for that. I’d say it was definitely worth the wait because she was able to release this music on her own terms and share messages that were important to her without a label trying to manipulate it into something purely profitable. This album is pure art!

Black Mascara is the best song off the album! The stutter pattern with that bass and the build up with the minimal singing and the rap verses! Such a banger! So addictive! Urrrghhh! Eargasmic!
