Wide angle Lenses for the APSC format are difficult to design optically, so I would go for the very best, I will only be interested in the Sony 15mm 1.4 G Lens.
!! seems like the prime most are looking at. I think it is because of the 1.5 crop (APSc) and then the additional crop for Active Stab makes the 15mm more like a 28mm
I adition to the 16-55 f2.8 G from Sony, do you think the 10-20 f4 or the 11 f1.8 would be the best to creat diversity into my photography ? Or do you think it would be the 15 f1.4 even if the zoom goes to 16mm f2.8 ?
That was perfect. New photographer here. Looking for a good lens. I'm liking the 11 mm f/1.8 myself. Keep these types of videos coming. I'm always looking for new equipment Thanks for the vid
Love this video... I love more boca too... I purchased a Tamron 11-20mm 2.8 and was a little disappointed. (I have Sigma 16 mm 1.4 and wanted a wider lens) This Sony 11mm 1.8 is enticing, its small... is it worth it?
I'm considering the Tamron 11-20. What is it about that lens that you don't like? It's between that and the Sony 10-20/f4. Any experience with the Sony?
Does anyone know what camera handle grip he is using? Does that one let you zoom in and out right from the handle? Can you also press record from the handle?
oh dude! The lack of the evh was disturbing me too! When trying to take photos I was all the time rising camera to my eyes, just to find out there's nothing to look into!
Thank you for recording this video, helped me a lot with the choice. I was thinking of taking sigma 16mm or sony 15mm. Sigma is outdated morally and very heavy . 10-20 dark glass and no blur, but there is a cool zoom)) But 11 mm 1.8 is the most contrasting glass and a cool blue, I really liked it. I'll buy it one of these days, too. Did you use color profiles when shooting ? or is it shooting on automatic settings ?
@@luisandradevideo yes, I bought a glass of 11 mm 1.8 - quite a good glass for my money. But it is well suited for video. The photos come out for an amateur, but it's quite normal. I turn on the stabilization, the picture is dropped and it turns out 16 mm. If you shoot without stabilization, the image capture is stunning
Do you think an A7C with the 11mm lens, Rode Wireless Go and an M3 Gimbal would make a good setup? & is it worth purchasing the A7C over the ZV-E10? I love the depth of field view and I’m looking for something practical I can hold for a good 20-40 mins when recording
11mm is an APS-C lens, and A7C is a full frame camera, so that won't work (unless you're gonna use crop mode on A7C). With A7C you could go for a 16-35/4 PZ lens (the new one) or if you want super shallow depth of field - 20mm f/1.8 G
The Sony a7iv with the 20mm f1.8 g lens takes some super sharp super nice color photos. I was amazed I thought the photos were shot from my higher quality 24-70 but it wasn’t. The 20mm has the g lens price with GM quality.
… na na … 🙈 … the new 15mm f1.4 is no vlogging lens. it‘s optical so good on an a6600 or even an a7 RIV, it‘s a shame to use it for vlogging - it‘s for photography … 😊 … thx for this video! 👍🏻
❤️ thanks! And Austria you’re saying?! I’m doing a workshop in Vienna on June 21st - maybe you want to join? Or model (we’re looking for couple to photograph during the afternoon and evening :)). Hit me up on IG @magicweddingphotographer

Which of these lens do you think is the most suitable for capturing northern lights at the arctic circle? (Both photo and video)

like 11mm f1.8 blurring but sometimes 11-20 plus digital zoom more useful, hard to choose...
Totally agree!!
Love this video... I love more boca too... I purchased a Tamron 11-20mm 2.8 and was a little disappointed. (I have Sigma 16 mm 1.4 and wanted a wider lens) This Sony 11mm 1.8 is enticing, its small... is it worth it?
I think 11m has the best value to what you get out of it ratio out of those 3 lenses

@@RandumbTech aperture ... just not enough if that blur in the background... I use it for vlogging. Probably fine for stills.

Agree, 11mm seems to be a hit.
and the cheapest too!
So with the barrel distortion, if I shoot video with A6500 with the 11mm it 15mm, is it possible the correct the video after shooting?
waiting for new apsc sony camera ,zve10 is good but I need evf

3rd lens 10mm 20mm f1.4 g power zoom? F1.4? Or f4?
4
please tell which tripod is it at 0:30
Hey, it's the sony remote/vlogging tripod GP-VPT2BT
What mic was attached on the camera, b1 or b10? Thanks
It was the older one - B1

nice . your voice is still strong
haha, thanks!
it's such a shame that the 11F1.8 is not a G lens, why not sony, i really want a G badge on this one
Jaram się jedenastką do mojej kolejowej fotografii :)
Idealny do tego :)

Yup! Same thoughts here, that’s why I mostly took photos on it!
