Bryan Ferry is joined onstage by original band members Phil Manzanera and Andy Mackay Paul Thompson and Chris Spedding for their first live show in 18 years ( ! ) Violin/keyboards: Lucy Wilkins Percussion/keyboards: Julia Thornton I was on Bryan Ferrys show in Gothenburg this spring (2011) and he sounds great as usually I got another channel, with my own recordings of Bryan Ferry (and Ringo) I stood very close to Bryan during the concert - around 2 - 3 meters. Check out my MrRoxxyz channel, part 4 of 4 is rather OK.. (just search for MrRoxxyz) Enjoy! Vonzy®
..... not bad for a group of guys in their 50's ! Bryan still has the voice, the coolness and the sexiness! Nice to see Phil Manzanera & the rest of the guys too...(thought I only have eyes for Bryan. .. had a crush n him since the 70's. ...Never understood why it took them so long to become popular in the U.S.
Saw this full concert in thailand on DVD last month........never have I seen so many guys young and old glued to the giant tv rather than watching the bar girls......utterly sublime
I also like it a lot! I have also been shooting a full consert of Bryan in Gothenburg, check my channel out!. (it's actually on another channel that I got, but there are links..) There is also a part two of Bryan&Roxy at the Appolo that are blocked in some countries //Vonzy®
Wow! I saw them in the 70's and was totally amazed that they sounded BETTER than their recordings. They are still the best in my book. Been a huge fan since their first records. People have told me I look like a Roxy Music cover girl. That is the best compliment to me ever. Thank you for posting.
Gee... What are you, a moron !!!?.. DEB-O-RA BALL ( to rhyme with PAL)- AB - LIO as in LEO the lion.. Pretty damn easy to pronounce and an appalling chat up line to give to a girl who's telling you she looks quite a lot like JERRY HALL or MARILYN COLE
In 1979 I played in a band that had the esteemed honor of being Roxy Music's opening act for most of the Manifesto tour...it was the greatest time of my life.
Roxy Music wrote the book on being cool!! Great to see this concert on YT. Really was gutted to have missed them when they came to New Zealand in 2011.
The 70s and 80s, when there was variety in music on the radio - and available on records, cassettes and then CDs. Timeless. I wonder if Bryan Ferry and Roxy are still doing live concerts.
I simply cannot survivet listening to this (and pt2) over and over and I keep finding things previously since first listenin. Great big thanks..upload thanks!

I've been watching this for days now and am watching it again. Thanks for posting it. What a delight to see such a great band at their best. The sound gets weird sometimes but that could be my computer. Thanks again.
Waayy over due for the rock and roll hall of fame. Glad they're finally getting in. I heard a local dj asking why they were nominated, considering they'd only had on hit. I wanted to shake some sense into that bloke. One of the most original bands ever.
Dawn Stroz they never gave anything less than everything to their devoted fans. The crowds pleasure is their pleasure & reward. That's why they are in my opinion the best live act ever.
love it ....glamour ...13.00...in every dream home, a heart-ache- is there a heaven? remember english is europeen language ... and not french since 1784 ... louis'16'ane....i like ....glamour keep ....is there a heaven?
Bryan Ferry, Andy Mackey. Phil Manzanera, Chris Spedding, Colin Good, Zev Catz, Lucy Wilkins, Julia Thornton, Sarah Brown and Yannick Etienne is in this clip
common these songs and the players can do this in their sleep! we all get old if we are lucky. it just means we had lotsa time to practice.look at all the legands that died at 27! i hope eric clapton lives to be 200!
Don't get me wrong. I love Roxy Music and Bryan Ferry. But does anyone else thing think it was uncomfortable that he recognized Phil after two guitar solos, but didn't when Lucy finished her amazing violin solo?

One of the most (possibly THE MOST) innovative and creative bands of the seventies...Stranded probably their masterpiece...great music, great passion.

I'm surprised Phil Manzanera's guitar didn't burst into flame during Ladytron. Completely fantastic show.
