Compared to “Disney Canon” where he was stuck in one dilapidated clone that has to be on a support system that makes Vader’s suit a state of the art in comparison, EU Palpatine has used several more clones that kept degrading everytime he uses Essence Transfer to a new clone. Hence why he tried to use Essence Transfer on the baby Anakin Solo when HAN SOLO SHOT HIM IN THE BACK!! Again: HAN. SOLO. KILLED. PALPATINE. With a single shot. Thank god Brand was there to keep Sid’s from getting Solo’s body.

Really like how Palpatine formed dyads with both Plagueis and Anakin, securing his position by ensuring neither of them could stab him in the back.
If palpatine had all his memories, he basically can’t lose. He barely made any mistakes until after order 66 in the first place. Now if we include the clone wars tv show we kind of figure out that sidious made many mistakes that he still managed to cover up. Now with all this prep time he shouldn’t lose. BUT if I was him, the only thing I think he could have done better is BE a Jedi on purpose AND be chancellor, that would probably eliminate the threat of any Jedi to be honest. If palpatine was a Jedi master of great power who lead the republic I could see him and mace being great friends only for him to be betrayed OR dooku not needing to leave the republic while still being palpatine secret apprentice on the inside
Yeah but Anakin is prophecied to bring balance no matter what, and the future is always in motion, meaning that any change palpatine makes, will have a consequence.

Once again; this story is more of a regression than a rebirth.
Day 154 of my list. What if; Anakin never gave into his feelings for Padme (Pentre Patrol did his version), Aayla Secura was the chosen one and became Darth Talon, Shme Skywalker was adopted by the Tusken Raiders, Boba Fett saved his Tusken family, Count Dooku was a regular count for the CIS, Jabba the Hutt supported the Jedi at the Start of the Clone Wars, and finally, what if Sabine and Ezra fell in love?
The thumbnail of Sheev Palpatine as a young man is pretty accurate. Tom Huddleston would resemble that.
How about doing these: what if Padme/Qui Gon/Bail Organa/Dooku was reborn with all the memories?

This was amazing. I’ve been a fan of your videos for a while and it’s always fun to see your interesting SW what if’s. It was also fun to see Palpatine being reborn with all of his memories getting shown some love. This is definitely an interesting scenario and it should definitely get shown some more love. Plus I think we can all agree that this is probably one of the most interesting/unique scenarios in SW…but it’s a welcome one. Also if Palpatine did get reborn with his memories…then it would definitely be an interesting opportunity to show another side of his character and make it even more interesting. It was also nice to see a “reborn with memories” story for Palpatine in the most unorthodox way getting shown some love, since he usually never gets the chance to do crazy stunts (at least no more than usual) like this that much and it was a nice change of pace to see him take the initiative and definitely made us all impressed. Plus it was nice to see Palpatine plan ahead for his enemies and get that opportunity to make a major impact in the galaxy…afterall it was nice to see him have a solid plan, afterall this was probably the smartest course of action they could take, so it was nice to see him come up with this plan to shift the power balance of the galaxy, since he knows that there’s still opportunity and hope in the galaxy. Also it’s always nice to see just how determined Palpatine truly is…also this was definitely something Palpatine would do (it’s happened before…so why not him returning once again). It was also nice to see Palpatine take those lessons of the past and use them to his advantage to try and stay on top…a powerful badass force wielder with his past experience and showing his prowess as an elite warrior. Palpatine is definitely more cunning than we think. Also Palpatine is one of my all time favourite characters from SW and it’s nice to see you include him in this amazing ‘what if’ story and show him the love and respect he deserves. This is by far one of the best “what if” stories where Palpatine was reborn with all of his memories ever and it would be interesting to see you do more stories like this one. Great job as always and I can’t wait to see what you do next.
I do have a few ideas for some possible what if’s:
1) What if Rey was a Mandalorian…essentially what if Din Djarin found Rey and took her in as a Foundling.
2) What if Ezra was a Mandalorian…something like how both his parents were Mandalorians who left Mandalore and went to start their own lives (you could still keep most of Ezra’s backstory) and potentially make Ezra and Sabine a couple (since Disney won’t, we have too…#ezrabine4ever.
3) What if Jango Fett and/or Boba Fett Joined the Republic…I think something interesting could happen with this.
4) What if Rey, Finn and Poe went back in time to the Clone Wars…this would make the World Between Worlds even more of an important focal point and I could also see them get along well with Anakin, Ashoka, Rex and the rest of the 501st (it would be fun to see Rey, Finn and Poe join the 501st)
I hope these are some amazing ideas for some potential What if’s

How about the inverse with his light side counterpart Yoda? Maybe instead having all his memories (since he lives for 900 years) He’s reborn with his memories of the final years of the Jedi and for the longest time he didn’t know what these memories were and brushed them off until events starting falling back together again. Maybe to make this more interesting Yoda doesn’t remember who Darth Sidious is…But he does remember his actions.

Maybe a bad idea but what if Vader dropped palpatine before reaching the reactor shaft
It would be interesting if next story would do something like this but with a non force user like Padme

While it did surprise me that Anakin would be in the picture still, I can see why Sidious would want to recreate Vader into the perfect apprentice. In legends he even admitted that he would do it again if an opportunity ever arose:

What if Plageius and Palpatine realised after the failed experiment with creating life (Anakin) that being a a sith or a jedi is week, and only having a balance of light and dark they can truly achieve the power, so it would mean that they would be stop to be sith and completely eveil, which maybe could mean redemption for them, and then they could become like first jedai
Edit: maybe the force would show them what have had happened at the very beginning with the first jedi schism so it would make sense why palpatine and plagiues wanted to still destroy jedi, and perhaps made Anakin into like the ultimate master of the force so with him they could be immortal and remade the whole force presence in galaxy creating like the first jedai order
Edit 2 maybe it could be the ultimate plan of the force to bring the balance which was caused by the jedi schism, so from this point of view palpatine and pleaguies would be to good guys because it was the jedai who wanted to controle the knowledge and the force itself, so the idea could be that the jedai and the sith were evil and plageius and palpitatie as i mentioned before could realised it and want to save anakain and made him into ultimate foce being that would lead all, and create a pradise in the galaxy thanks to the foce making people force sensitive and imtoral
