i used to work in a pub similar to this and they had a basement area for kegs and food storage, it was just full of fridges and sacks of potatoes but with the pub being a foody one i think itll add to the realism :)
Henford-On-Bagley was the first LBTW i watched in real time and im so sad it is almost over. I cannot contain my excitement for the village and meeting all it's families!
I was indeed screaming inside at both the bay window and then the wallpaper on that roof piece 😅 but I trusted your process of course. It is turning out lovely, cannot wait to see the next parts! I'm feeling a very cosy build coming up.
Loooooove it!!!! Upstairs idea..... Split the 2 rooms on the side of the build so each one can look out onto the beer garden, then room 3 would look out over nature, each room I would think has a very tiny minimal bathroom, nothing large and fancy cause this place is all about nature vacation.... Now the idea of theme rooms, I wouldn't do a nature one, that's what the beer garden is for, id do historical for all, just each room would portray a different aspect (the old mill, the mansion, ancestors... 🤔) Can't wait till next week, loving this lil story as well 💖, great job 😁👍🏽 as always Aden 👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽
Such a wonderful idea to have a second pub! Totally right, all countrysides have more than one! Idea for the rooms: colour themes representing the wildlife in Henford? Reds & oranges for the foxes, natural earth tones for the rabbits, green for all the trees & flora, blues & purples for the birds - you get the picture! Whatever you end up doing will be gorgeous! P.S Did you know that our illustrated pubs signs (a red lion, sleeping dog etc) were made because most British people couldn't read? Thought you might appreciate that fun fact! xo
Inn Room Theme Ideas 1. Farm Core: farmhouse flourish & fanciful fields of fantasia. 2. Gnome Sweet Home: literally overrun with gnomes and harvestfest decor. 3. The Myths of Bagley: the walls tell the history of the primal festivals that showcased werewolves and hidden treasure.
I can already tell that I'm going to love this! I always enjoy your pub builds though. Maybe since this is more of a gastropub, they have a little garden where they grow their own herbs or vegetables. They strike me as the kind of people who would be very in to making this place a lovely farm to table kind of experience.
Looking beautiful already! I think when it comes to the guestrooms maybe each room could be a reference to bits of history/legends that were discussed in previous parts. For example the founding family, the church, the smuggling pirates of the pub in town and maybe something specific to this location itself, like highwaymen or of maybe a runaway bride from back in the day
Love them. Don't know how everyone in the UK is doing today. I'm in Glasgow and we are getting it full force. Still got power for now but the lights are flickering a wee bit
From a Capricorn to you, a lovely Virgo, I as a fellow earth sign was in fact that person screaming and desperately pleading with you to fix the uneven bay windows in the front! The relief when you noticed... 😮💨
In Italy we have something really similar to this, we call it Agritourismo (plural Agriturismi, google translate it with Agriturisms but i never heard anyone say it) which are similar to BnBs in a very rustic style with bedrooms and a restaurant, where you can go even without having a room. They are usually in country areas and sometimes they also have various farm animals, orchards or vineyards and things like that. Maybe this can give you some ideas for this building if you want.
I'm not sure what's it's called, but we have something similar in Norway. The farmers are given less and less, but the government wants to keep the "romantic" countryside for the tourists..!
I think you should go completely over the top for the themes, like keep the inn super traditional and as soon as you get to the rooms BAM theres a tropical theme, a dolly parton theme etc etc, like super unexoected but reflects the owners travels and is the talking point of the inn! Loving the build so far! Hope youve been safe in the storm
I'm in love with these sims. I did wonder how long it would take you to realise that the bay windows didn't match lol, and yes I was screaming at my monitor about it lol xx
For the back of the pub, I would take a look at the dining area of midsummer house in Cambridge. Their dining room is in a lovely conservatory space filled with light attached to a heritage building.
3:45 she makes me think of a young Mary Daly, whom I admiringly call the Double Edged Axe of Feminist Literature (this was a common symbol she used with her books, one of my icons) Awesome video once again 🤗 this is by far my favourite sims series to watch x
What a gorgeous couple 😍 I love the look of the old English buildings especially the pubs. So jealous ❤ Aden, are you able to put the old Henford primary school, on the gallery please.
I think the rooms can be named after prolific residents of Henford-on-Bagley! Or themed around historical occupations like the Blacksmith's Room, Coachman's Room, Gamekeeper's Room; I feel like that'd be so fun
I'd be really interested to see the modern house you were going to build but the pub is beautiful! Maybe one of the rooms could be decorated for an outsider hoping to solve the mystery?
Gorgeous (as always) ♥ No judging but I am guilty of wondering when you were gonna notice. It WAS quite funny. Seriously loving the stone combo. When you add the vines I know it'll be 💋 perfection. Thank you for the video, Aden!
Why don't you move them out, turn the lot into a bar/pub/restaurant, then get them to buy the bar, then just move them there. I've done that before in my sims games, same with vets clinics or retail lots. Just a though ❤
You may have to make your own dormers for the roof line. You can also probably add a half wall around the larger part of the build to add to the ullusion that it's a bit taller than the one on the side. Adding your own dormers may also give you the opportunity to add a third floor. Sadly the Sims team didn't really give us a good dormer that fits in with this style of build. Maybe the other one from Cottage living? Idk.
I've played with my sims on restaurant lot - they just lived upstairs. But all the dinning tables are functioning as restaurant's places, so I installed bar counters and sims used it when they eat their food when its have to be not-ordered dish (cooked for themselves, not for visitors)
We plan on visiting The Cotswolds when in the UK in May. I know it’s quite a large area so i’m looking for inspiration and places to see. Now The Bell Inn is on my list. I just looked it and it’s in a town called Moreton-in-Marsh (love English names:)) Btw, love the storyline with this couple.
Evening Aden, a quick question if you don't mind. Have you uploaded the Old School House to the gallery yet? I cant find it , thanks and have a good weekend x
It was me, I almost had a heart attack, lol jk. However I forgive, especially since I have done it before. Idea for the upstairs, what if you put in a Comunial bathroom, that would split it up, plus if I'm renting a room. I'd expect to not have to share one down stairs with the pub. It looks beautiful btw, I can't wait to see how it ends up.

I absolutely came here to suggest a gnome room!
i am obsessed with the gnome idea
Love lesbians, love jack russells, love pubs
OMG watching Aden build while enjoying a frosty mug while cooking. What a perfect Friday evening!

I absolutely lovvvvve your traditional British builds, they’re just perfection, and I wanna live in every one of them!
Love them. Don't know how everyone in the UK is doing today. I'm in Glasgow and we are getting it full force. Still got power for now but the lights are flickering a wee bit
Stay safe!
We had it pretty bad through in Edinburgh today too. Hope you’ve stayed safe!
In Wales and trees are down!
@Mylittlelife01 yeah a 400 year old tree near my local area with ties to Mary Queen of Scots is basically in half now
@@jinty6555it’s awful!

I’m a Virgo and I could barely concentrate for the anxiety over the bay window until Aden noticed lol x

I love this pub in Stow!! Absolutely stunning, love you’ve used this as a reference

Oh hey! What a great surprise, a new video from my favourite sims artist ✨🌞
Sorry for the late watch Aden. I’m in Glasgow and the storm really kicked my butt yesterday. Another great start to a new build ❤
Was not expecting to see a pub from my hometown in a db video! 😂 love your rendition of it so far! ❤
I think the long corridor upstairs is very typical of an old inn xx
I have never been so interested in LBTW like this one. Love this!
I think the rooms can be named after prolific residents of Henford-on-Bagley! Or themed around historical occupations like the Blacksmith's Room, Coachman's Room, Gamekeeper's Room; I feel like that'd be so fun
Is there ANY possiibility that maybe one day we could get a Daisy cam? I dream of seeing her little sleepy face in the corner of the videos...
I’ve been wanting a functional bed and breakfast in the Sims 4 forever. I hope they will give us that this year with hotels.
you are so good at these kinds of builds! So impressive!
I'd be really interested to see the modern house you were going to build but the pub is beautiful! Maybe one of the rooms could be decorated for an outsider hoping to solve the mystery?

Kate has my dream job. I've always wanted to be a travel writer.

You were a hairdresser for 20 years?! Darling, we need a Q&A video!
These sims are such cuties.

Maybe one of the rooms could be a Narnia theme?
Just curious! Which world are you working on next in this series? Fingers crossed for Windenburg! 🤞🏻
Kate works in Queer Media and is holding space for the lyrics of Defying Gravity…
Gnome or chicken room! Or gnome AND chicken room! Isn't there a gnome riding a chicken?
Butchfemme lesbian couple I'm so keen you've made me genuinely so happy thank you Aden
Please never stop creating lesbian sims king
LOVE KATE😍 she looks like a blonde lesbian version of Miranda Hobbes

Wouldn’t it be great if there was a canal that connects, and you have a mouring area for the canal boats?
oh that would be lush
So would this be a residential lot with short leases to kind of simulate a hotel?
okay i didnt see anything 😂
Hey Aden do you have any save files we can download please? ❤
