I used to think I was better than Judas. I used to think about how awful he was. I used to think how could he betray Jesus. Then I was born again and realized I am the same as Judas. we all are. we have all betrayed Him and we all fall short. Thank you Lord for your mercy and for paying our fine on that cross. I am a wretch but through you I am washed clean. Praise Jesus!

for those that dont know, Jesus will fulfill you more than anything in this world, I speak from experience (from when i did Romans 10:9-13), he loves you and wants to be in a meaningful (not romantic) relationship with you. :) “that if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. For the scripture saith, Whosoever believeth on him shall not be ashamed. For there is no difference between the Jew and the Greek: for the same Lord over all is rich unto all that call upon him. For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.” ‭‭Romans‬ ‭10‬:‭9‬-‭13‬ ‭KJV‬‬ “and saying, The time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God is at hand: repent ye, and believe the gospel.” ‭‭Mark‬ ‭1‬:‭15‬ ‭KJV‬‬ If you want proof that Jesus and the Bible are true look a documentary called “Ron Wyatt discoveries 2022” on RUclips and a RUclips channel called Expedition Bible. They both examine archeological sites and discoveries that prove the Bible, and even reference secular sources. (Just don’t convert to 7th day Adventism after watching the documentary) And lastly if you don’t know the gospel and want to be saved search up “abc’s of Salvation Teenmissions” on Google and it should be the first or second result. When you click on it read the whole thing, and do what it says and have faith in Jesus while you are doing it, do not doubt, and if it is hard for you to do what it says, ask Jesus to help you, have faith that he will, and he will. God Bless :)

Judas NEVER Believed that Jesus was The Messiah. He felt bad that he helps kill an innocent man. He didn’t Repent and Believed after. He instead took his own life. He is not with the Saints of 12 he was replaced. Judas was the Son of Perdition used by Satan. If you are a believer our faith is not the faith subjected to Satan which is eternal hell.

@@Ben-js9fg genuinely asking, does that mean he repented or does that mean the weight of his sun was so much that he couldn’t handle it and killed himself? Maybe he repented but just couldn’t bare the betrayal of Jesus. Not sure honestly, but he was robbed of any redemption since he took himself out. Peter also was torn for betraying Jesus, but he had the opportunity for redemption.

@@brenale_heartsJesus hung himself because he was ashamed of himself.
If he truly repented he would have understood that even though he betrayed his friend Jesus , Jesus still died for him and wants him to continue on in life becoming better.
But any life taken that isn't from God is sin. Suicide is sin.
And he chose to off himself instead of improving as a person.
It's very tragic. He had a choice to do better but he chose not to.
A lot like us in our daily walk.
Not Suicide (well it could be if you are to that point)
Judas betrayed Jesus for thirty pieces of silver but we betray him for free.
I just recently been crawling out of a hole from backsliding.
Was convinced I was going to hell because of being caught in a stronghold I caused myself.
It's in those moments that Satan says "aha! You must have never really been saved because you're struggling with this certain sin!"
It got so bad for me that when I kept turning back to my sin I actually prayed for God to take me home so I would no longer sin.
That I just wanted to be with him.
But then I realized how selfish that was because I would be leaving behind my family and friends. God has a plan for me and I Shouldn't be asking him for that. I should realize his grace is sufficient in my weaknesses.

@@RelicQuadrangle for a second I thought I was reading my own story here! Dude I am almost going through the same thing, recovering from backsliding into sin and even thought of suicide to get away from the consequences. Terrible, but praising God for His mercies and forgiveness!
I agree about Judas. Jesus was ready to forgive him and Judas robbed himself of that opportunity to be redeemed. Like I said, we’ve all betrayed Jesus, it’s just a matter of true repentance and redemption that can change our course forever.

If you’ve ever read the Bible or are reading it you may notice how it exemplifies every human emotion, every sense, every trial and tribulations that we all share today and will forever share. It tackles death, sadness, depression, anxiety, fear, love, sex, hunger, thirst, triumph, joy, happiness, murder, self defense, lust, solitude, temptation, beauty, sin, anger, forgiveness, passions, money, work, suicide, mental health and etc… it tackles every bases of humanity

I will admit, you’re right about that one.
Im not a believer, but I’ve been trying to cross reference my old Bible- Jesus is a fascinating character in history after all, so I’m trying to study him as factually as possible.
Well last night saw a vid taking about Ecclesiastes, and I got curious. Got to reading it, and I didn’t expect it to be so similar to my own rants about life. Even considering my secular view compared to the author’s religious one, every other line was like my internal monologue. I haven’t yet looked into who wrote it or when, but their thoughts were just like mine, and that was something to consider. Like religious or not- those were the real thoughts and feelings of an actual person, and that’s really cool.

@@EmilIrska I can tell you’re very intelligent. There’s some part of you that’s pulling closer to learning the truth (that in of itself isn’t what makes you intelligent) what makes you intelligent is your willingness to set aside your own beliefs in order to try and understand our faith. Ik everyone including yourself have this nagging feeling in your head that causes you to subconsciously know there’s some kind of creator. I remember that’s how it started for me. I’ve always felt that there was something I was missing, there’s something out there that cares enough to still have us here. I used to long about finding the truth, and I believe I have. The Bible is immeasurably complicated but is so so true. Even if you don’t believe it’s a spiritual book, it’s still the best book to learn wisdom and peace.

I have an amazing story. One day I was driving home, when all of a sudden the Lord came to me in spirit. I felt very close to Him. I knew if I asked him to play any song on the radio he would, I guess to bless my faith.
So I said "ok, Lord play "Come as you are by Nirvana".
I turned on the radio and the song started playing right there on the spot, perfectly…
I started getting flooded with chills like a waterfall, crying, and trembling.
He stayed with me for 10 minutes in my driveway. until I got outta the car.
A couple months after that I started getting amazing prayers answered way more often, because it helped me quit doubting when I pray and I was lined up with biblical instructions. It's 6 years later and I still get answered prayers in Jesus name.

Fun fact, Had Judas decided to repent like Peter(for denying Jesus) even after he sold Jesus out, Jesus would have still forgiven him and restored him and Judas would have been part of the 12 apostles that spread the good news to the world. The problem came when he decided to commit suic!de and he could not be redeemed anymore. Literally Judas had EVERY chance to still change his mind and be right with God.

I know the Oscars thing is just trending to say, but so is the response at the Oscars are so DONE when it comes to being relevant. Will sound of freedom and Jesus revolution even get nominated? Those are the movies people went to see and loved. The Bible says that Jesus knew who didn't believe, and who it was who would betray Him. Judas did not believe, and he was with Jesus. Be aware that there is a satanic effort to make Judas seem like the victim of God, and even the hero of the cross. But that way of thinking comes from gnosticism, which makes good, evil, and evil, good, and makes the devil the good one, our God the evil one, and just like it would do with Judas, makes the devil the hero and God's victim. So it is to be expected that Satan would do the same thing with Judas. I can feel bad that Judas was lost, but realize that God would have wanted him to be saved, even after the betrayal. It is Judas who refused the grace of God, preferring suicide to letting God save him. That is not being an innocent "victim's of God ", as gnosticism likes to portray it.

    Psalm 63:1-4
    O God, thou art my God; early will I seek thee: my soul thirsteth for thee, my flesh longeth for thee in a dry and thirsty land, where no water is;
2 To see thy power and thy glory, so as I have seen thee in the sanctuary.
3 Because thy lovingkindness is better than life, my lips shall praise thee.
4Thus will I bless thee while I live: I will lift up my hands in thy name.

Absolutely loved this whole scene. ❤Judas is so earnest, as I imagine he would be at the start. Jesus's tone is nuanced with a sense of foreshadowing.
The writing is brilliant as well. Just wow. It always chokes me up.🥺

I think about us as humans all the time. Weve all fallen short of the glory of God. All of us are sinners, worthy of death, yet our Father is so gracious he offers us a way out. God constantly shows us, as people, what it means to be a good father. It must be so heartbreaking to see all that we do even though he has been nothing but all loving

I think this show really captured my imagining of Jesus when I was a boy. It pays homage to the Buddhist and Hinbu teachings that were popular in Jesus's time. Much like them, Jesus's teachings were radical and different. Instead of strict adherence to rules and law, Christianity was more about finding a state of peace and enlightenment. Kindness and forgiveness in your life and work being a major theme.
If Jesus did exist, it seems likely his teachings were somewhat influenced by these other teachers.

Truth is each time we sin, especially mortal sin, we betray Jesus ourselves. We should strive to be more worthy of His sacrifices. All He wants is for us to love Him and each other. And he loved him. You don't kill yourself over someone you don't love deeply. He couldn't breath for a moment without him. That is great. Peter ran, hid, denied him. Left him, not under the cross . No where does the Bible say he said "I'm sorry" No one heard Judas, he was alone. They assumed what he did and said.
