  • Pierre Cloutier is travelling across Canada with his two Belgian horses and his dog. He has two covered wagons, which he built himself. Fully equipped with a solar power and generator to supply power to his signal and 4way lights, also satellite radio. Pierre left St. Barnaby , Quebec and is going to British Columbia. He is relying on the generosity of any farm that can provide shelter and a place to rest his horses along the way. A man with a dream ! Good Luck Pierre !

      Did you guys go already or did something change over time? Please let me know. My wife and I are working towards the same thing, travel across Canada with two gypsy horses and a barrel top for about ten years or more.

    Good video Edith. Pierre is in for the ride of his life. You are good folks to put him up for a night and shelter his horses. I saw him on County Road 29 today near Almonte Ontario.

    What a great idea having the mirror on the harness.

      Rubbish. They'll be bouncing up and down with the horses so much he could never see in them. Watch how they bounce on the video when he turns right toward the camera.

    I to would love to do this, as a saddle maker maybe I could make gear as I go along at rest stops, would it be better to mount the mirrors of the wagon , easier to reach while driving?👍👍

    no visible waggon break ? what about the weight down hill, or will it be paved flat roads all the way. and your going to need a farrier, and they don't have those at truck stops

    En México este transporte ya es considerado maltrato animal por nuestros gobiernos y ponen sanciones y multas.

    • @lobosolitario1343
      @lobosolitario1343 Год назад

      ¿Maltrato animal?. Son caballos de tiro y son capaces de tirar de grandes pesos sin inmutarse. Si están bien alimentados y no se abusa en los kilómetros a recorrer con ellos no hay problema ni maltrato alguno. Los caballos del vídeo se nota que están bien cuidados.

    Like the wing mirrors ,and it’s fully light loaded wagon ,the dogs a bit of a fruit loop.

    that dog is worthless and should maybe be 'dropped off' accidentally/on-purpose?!? ;) I now realize that there really IS a 'brave stupidity' and a 'stoopid stupidity'...... just dunno which/either/both apply here ;) still, it is one way to adventure, right?!?
