A little piece of advice from a fellow daycare teacher, when you were showing the little one who was coloring.... don't forget to cover their face and name that was on the table. Something so easily overlooked but could lead to trouble. I love the way you were honest about how they can stress you out bug you still love them. I taught in Daycare for 30 years and yes they can send you over the edge but at the same time bring you back and make your day unbelievable. What's fun is finding kids I had when I first started through social media and seeing how far they have come in their careers and in their own adult life knowing you had a little something to do with their success. It an awesome and rewarding career, good luck and enjoy those little ones!
I'm trying to apply for a job as a daycare teacher I'm a 15 year year old. They allow 14+ teens to work there at the daycare. I'm working part time since I have school and probably going to work more hours during summer if I get the job.
I’m hoping to get a job at a daycare that my mom used to work at and I don’t have any job experience but I believe God will help me. I love how you played Christian music 😭❤️
I volunteer in the toddlers section at the daycare section of my church and hope to be a daycare worker when I’m a bit older and I have a question what does it take to be a daycare worker hope you answer 😊
It depends on your centers needs! I started out as a floater helping in whatever class they needed and then i started keeping the same class everyday in the afternoons until i became a lead teacher in that classroom, from then in I’ve been the lead teacher in the classrooms I’ve thought in! I teach pre k now in my center
I don't have any experiences.. They said they was gone train me. If i ever get hired. I guess they want people with experiences. Im like "i can learn some things especially if a become a mother in the near future."
I have been teaching for 40ish years ! I went to two year program and I have made my way to about the end of career. The place where I am now is filled with broken children and parents don't really care the just can't wait to drop the off in the morning!😮 even the directors foster son leads the charge and she hardly does anything.😢😢😢😢 Nap is a joke!!!!!!!! If just one does not sleep you may as well forget about any paperwork or planning done and we don't have an extra pair of hands to help me when my co teacher goes on break! It is a zoo by the time she gets back from break! And then it is time for me to go home🤬😱😵😵😵😵😵😵😵😵😵😵😵 0:26
I'm working at a daycare through a summer job program for poor teens and the youngest age they're hiring is 14, it depends on the care center or city you're in

Most places you have to be certified by the state and take certain classes to know what the standards are for your state

How old do you need to be to work at a daycare ?
It depends on your state, I’m in all and i was 17 when i started working at the daycare, along with having my DCF hours
