Dam! I wish my hay was that heavy! Hsy crops are stunted from the cold low moisture spring we had here west of edmonton. Cereal crops are looking decent so far. Well done good sir!
"Need both hands" Two hander, i'm impressed! Meth heads and thieves, not a farmer's friend. Here in our small city, there was an article about the blatant thefts going on in stores. The unnamed source didn't want her name used because she was afraid her employer might not be happy, even though the daily thefts are insane. She said they come in, load up, and walk out. Some even come back the same day or multiple times in the week. Employer doesn't want the clerk to stop them. She said even if they call the RCMP, they are slow to respond!!! Thief long gone. Maybe because they know it's a waste of time since our joke courts here in Canada do nothing with these thieves. I could say who is the in the vast majority doing it BUT that would result in cries of racism from the woke and activists. I have in-laws who are farmers that have had multiple thefts over recent years. Of course, i can't say the suspects in those either. Lots of farmers quads, snowmobiles, ATV's, etc. go missing never to be seen again.
Oklahoma meth heads are out lighting up hay. About a week ago they made 8 stops in 2 counties. If caught by the wrong person they’ll probably just disappear without a forwarding address. The estimate was tens of thousands $ lost. My bet is more since some of those guys will have to buy replacement hay now…
