  • MILLION DOLLAR FISH
This is the moment Keegan's life changed forever, because that fish has just turned him into the Top End's newest millionaire. You see, every year the NT hosts a competition called Million Dollar Fish, which has reeled in anglers from far and wide. A bunch of barramundi get released into the wild with special tags, but only one of them has the million dollar tag, and that's the fish Keegan caught, on the Katherine River, just around the corner from where he lives! It's the first time in the competition's nine-year history that someone has actually won the big prize!
    KING CHARLES RETURNS
King Charles has officially returned to public duties! The King and Queen Camilla met staff and patients at a cancer treatment and research centre in London. He's been taking a bit of a break while he receives treatment after his cancer diagnosis earlier this year, but now doctors have given him the green light to return to some in-person royal duties.
    PENGUIN BINS
Big penguins, penguin-themed bollards, and penguin-themed pies. It's pretty hard to escape penguins, here in Penguin - including on the town's bins. But a few years back, the local council decided they wanted to replace the bins, which have been there for more than 40 years. But residents, and the Penguin Makeover Committee, weren't fans, and quickly came to the rescue! One resident even applied to have them heritage listed, which would have made them the first heritage-listed bins in Australia! While that sadly didn't work out, it seems like the council definitely heard all that squawking! Now, not only will these bird-themed bins be sticking around for good, but there'll be some new bins added, using the same classic design! You could say, it's been a real, PENG-win-win. Eh?
    SHENZHOU-17 LANDING
Keep that applause going for these three astronauts from China's Shenzhou-17 mission. They've just returned to Earth, after spending more than six-months in space and completing two spacewalks! Yeah, they're pretty happy to be back. Our brains and bodies take a while to readjust to gravity, so these guys might be resting their legs for a little bit.
    BIG CAT IN BALLARAT
Now to Ballarat in Melbourne, where this video of a big panther-like cat has sent people into a spin! Some think it's just a really massive feral cat, some think it could be a black panther, which aren't exactly native to Australia. While others are convinced it was actually created by AI, and it's got us all fooled! Hmmm.
    OLYMPIC MEAL PLAN
And what does an Olympian eat? Well, this stuff! Yeah, we've just had a sneak peek into what's on the menu for athletes competing at this year's Games in Paris. More than 500 recipes have been created, And more than half of them are actually vegetarian!
