Yes, they were connected in 2016. They tore down John Wanamaker and built a stretch of shops between the two malls.

Nice place . When I worked there in the 80’s it was a strip mall.
I used to visit this mall back in the early 90s when I lived in Wilmington Delaware it's sad to see it so devoid of people.
What's so sad? It's after hours. The mall is packed full of people every day.
