Imagine living in a failed state in America that is so backwards that they need to shut down the powerlines to prevent fires, which shut down water pumping stations, and then they have no water to fight the fires, and the failed state of California refused to let the electrical utilities upgrade the power lines, go figure you can't fix stupid.
You don't think that the land and waterways have been affected by the fire retardant dumped on the fires and the chemicals from burned building materials, home goods etc that are now seeping into the environment?
@niram4107 lol fire retardant is harmless. And yes the land and water will recover nicely. It wasn't long ago we had the mom and Pop gas stations. Where do you think all the used oil went. The do it yourself ones used to pour used oil along their fence line to control weeds. And everything we have on this earth has come from the earth. And it will again.

So sad to see firefighters demoted to landscapers in a state that obsesses over illegal migrants we need so badly according to them for simple jobs we don't want to do.....
I have no doubt all first responders are doing the best with what they have within a limited budget set forth by administrators ! Reactive is never a solution to a problem ! Get some common sense proactive professionals in and correct this mess to limit damage in future emergencies !

There are many reasons for the horrendous number of homes destroyed, but the proliferation and use of timber in construction has to be one. Concrete and brick dwellings suffered far less, as did those with roof-top sprinkler systems.
The one question Murdoch's minions will not ask the surviving victims of the California wildfires... Do you believe there's a climate change crisis...? Imagine the law suits if anyone of them answered yes..
Stop using the climate as a scapegoat for the gross negligent, woeful and inept governance of the State by Cali Dems. Cali Dems have acknowledged a climate crisis and they most definitely should be aware that the Santa Ana winds, drought and fire have been a part of Cali's ecosystem for thousands of years. And what do Cali dems do? Mismanage their forests, fail to invest in new infrastructure and maintain existing infrastructure, cut funding to their fire-fighter sector, have DEI as the key criterion for an employment position over merit, experience and delivery of results. This fire tragedy is the result of woeful, inept and negligent governance. And the sad thing is that if only Altadena was affected by the fires, it would not be front and centre in the news. It's only because the elite enclaves of the Pacific Palisades and Malibu are wiped out that the fires are in the news.
And we're certainly glad before you allowed Washington and Oregon fire trucks to come on your streets on highways. You made them pass inspections before they could come and help put out raging fires 🤔 priorities my man, priorities or women or whatever the hell you are today anyways 🤣
We did it JOE!
Well, it"s all Newsom"s fault.
Smart city incoming
Just like Hawaii. Human fatalities apparently you're just a nasty side effect.
@kleepo7733 I am very much a humanitarian, I'm merely pointing out to the sleepers what's the end goal for those in power
Clearing dead brush is illegal in California, now they have day release prisoners clearing brush. As the whole place severely burns.
Pray for Los Angeles.

The Great Re-Build & the endgame...

2025 right on cue...

The land isn't destroyed the land will recover better than before. As for the houses those are destroyed.

When reporters interview people the first thing they need to ask is who they voted for.
That’s psychotic
Is that really the most important thing?

KIA-MIA-POW should concentrate on "news" and not speculation. Especially from so-called, alleged experts.
