- Take a few minutes to talk to Chris about his ultralight airplanes and I try to get him to let me fly it. Maybe when it's done. either way, this is a guy keeping his dream alive building something in America. Show some support if you can. Chris has a RUclips channel and an instagram as well so swing by there and check out his build progress or his website to order one of your own. Link Below!!

I really hope this company gets some traction. There don't seem to be enough UL companies out there that match this level of prefabrication...and the concept of prebuilt wings is sure to have appeal, I would imagine. It seems like it would be the most tedious part of the build process.
I have been looking for a couple of years now for a plane that is what I want. And you built it. I'm going through my Flight training and after I plan on getting a hold of you. Thanks for this
I rarely like back ground music on videos, but this base and its volume was perfect.
Plus awesome plane and designer dude.
Awesome! Glad I found this video, I am really excited about Badlands and looking forward to seeing much success!
WOW! 3 weeks of Welding...Impressive Chris, way to add VALUE to something & make something out of Nothing. Very impressive Brother!
So, have you flown one yet?!?! I really like this company and hope they do well. Need more good 103 aircraft out there!
Every time he has one done and ready to fly I'm out of town. One day. . .
Would give both gonads for one of these Badland ultralights. Great design w/ the pre-fabbed, folding wings and excellent build quality make this my "ultimate" ultralight - if I weren't on a fixed income, dang it. Sadly, that's why i had to give up my classic Corvair, as I just couldn't keep up w/ the extra expenses for insurance, registration and then gas and maintenance.
I can’t wait hoping to talk to Chris soon and get in the queue for a ready to fly unit from him
Go check out the badland aircraft Instagram.
Thats some cool stuff
Awesome 😎
I love the American flag on the wall, and the property hung flag on the back of his shirt. Nice planes also.
@@BurnoutsAndRotorblades I flew helicopters in the US Army and continue to fly light sport.
Looks like a pretty nice design
Go fly that thing!
What side tubing? Wall thickness?
