Soldiers fight to stabilise those regions so that it doesn't spill over into our country. The police are responsible for maintaining law inside the country. We the majority are failing to practice our democracy.

It's sad that in difficult times like these... where people need help, they are on their own (people are hunting criminals who are raping n killing... themselves, people close holes with their hands...yet the municipality have TLBs) no politicians, come 2024 you will see them going door to door promising people heaven n earth for them to have seats in parliament then vanish. Even during 2021 July unrest they were no where to be found....people were protecting malls themselves n it was very funny to see taxi drivers on the front n police behind.
