In this Switzerland walking tour in a Snowy winter season, I walked and hiked through Lauterbrunnen, Switzerland, which is undoubtedly the most beautiful, postcard fairytale-like village of Switzerland. Lauterbrunnen lies at the entrance of a majestic U-shaped valley featuring rocky cliffs (probably the world's most photographed valley), where thunderous 72 waterfalls from the surrounding Swiss Alps land. The sound of these waterfalls and Weisse Lütschine river flowing through the village quickly attract, captivate and soothe one's soul. The rocks, mountains, birds and water flowing sound, church bells and pristine atmosphere follow you wherever you walk and hike. One never gets tired of walking around this village!! Next to this village are two more beautiful villages of Switzerland - Murren and Wengen! Nearby, the glacial waters of Trümmelbach Falls gush through mountain crevices past viewing platforms. A cable car runs from Stechelberg village to Schilthorn mountain, for views over the Bernese Alps.

LAUTERBRUNNEN: Lauterbrunnen is a village and a municipality in the canton of Bern, Switzerland. The very name ‘Lauter Brunnen’ (‘many fountains’) suggests the magnificence of this landscape. Located at the entrance of a spectacular valley, it is also known as the waterfalls village as it has 72 waterfalls that look absolutely gorgeous. The most famous being the Staubbach Falls, plunging almost 450 metres from an overhanging rock face, it is one of the highest free-falling waterfalls in Europe.
Lauterbrunnen is ideal for hiking, base jump, paragliding, via ferrata, wingsuit jump and numerous family day trips. If you are treating yourself to an overnight stay, you will awake to the sound of one of the 72 waterfalls. It's a starting point for day trips to the Alps. It's a meeting point for mountaineers and hikers. Some Highlights of Lauterbrunnen region: Staubach Falls, Trümmelbach Falls, BOBBIN Room, Beautiful village, UNESCO Theme Trails etc. Trümmelbach Fall - another deafening natural phenomenon in the ‘Black Monk’ mountain, hidden behind mighty rock faces. Up to 20,000 litres of water per second cascade over the ten glacier falls from a total height of about 200 metres. This spectacle can only be reached in summer by tunnel lift.

I was supposed to go here two years ago, then the trump virus hit... Hopeffully I will get to Lauterbrunnen this year. I want to take the cable car up to Murren, then do the famous bicycle trip all the way down to Lauterbrunnen. Your video really captured this beautiful place!

Wonderful, love the snow and the striking "monochrome" scenery! Wow, you did quite a bit of walking there! And the sound of your shoes in the snow is priceless :-) Looks like you started around 11.30 and at 15.00 you were still going at it? What's great about this video is that it's probably the only one that shows so much of the _off-the-beaten-path_ Lauterbrunnen. It was very interesting to see the parts west of the main street (Fuhren?), I only hiked the path to Isenfluh once.
Glad we offered different than others and you enjoyed it. Yes, I walked quite long (until 3:30pm) as you noticed; similar was for Zermatt and Kandersteg walk videos too.

There is still snow in Lauterbrunen during this time of Spring Season 🤔. We are planning to visit next month.
Mid April onwards, Lauterbrunnen shouldn't be covered in snow. But, Grindelwald (and high-altitude nearby regions such as Murren and Wengen) could still have snow. Today and this weekend, it is snowing in Grindelwald region.

What about the weather🤔 in Mid April, Lauterbrunen? Because I was a bit confusing what clothes should I need to pack🤔 especially I have a kid.
If you are coming from a warm place, cold weather clothes are must. If you happen to travel to Swiss mountain regions and villages, it will be pretty cold and covered in snow during that time. In general, I would recommend 70% winter clothings but better check the weather forecast of the regions you would like to visit here, about 5-8 days before your travel.

It is such an incredibly beautiful video, sadly the enjoyment of it, on my big screen TV has partly been disappointing because of the constant labels on both top corners of the video.
These labels are like a constant reminder that am watching a video and am not really there (I like to just focus on the video and imagine being there).
So I just skipped to somewhere in the middle to check if the labels are there throughout the video, and since they are there, I am just leaving this video after watching just first 2 minutes.
My loss, because this seemed like such an AMAZING place.
To uploader: You might consider keeping the labels only for first few minutes, or if you want to keep them throughout the video why not play around with transparency settings and also color schemes for the labels so they do not take away from creating the illusion (at least for people who watch it on BIG screens) that the viewer is him/her self is wandering around in the place.
Otherwise an absolutely beautiful choice of the place...

probably yes! Usually, lauterbrunnen remain covered in snow until mid-March, but, this year snowfalls have been quite less across Switzerland (until now) compared to the last few years.
