- Grindelwald Switzerland, a Swiss village tour of one of the most beautiful villages in Switzerland in relaxing 4k video. This delightful skiing village in the Bernese Alps, which is in fact the largest ski resort in the Jungfrau region, welcomes visitors on holiday or vacation, to enjoy skiing in winter and hiking in summer. There is a huge variety of outdoor activities in all seasons. Take a trip up to Jungfraujoch, part of the UNESCO World Heritage Site at The Top of Europe. Grindelwald village is famous for it’s spectacular scenery of the surrounding mountains Eiger and Wetterhorn. More recently the name Grindelwald was mentioned in the Harry Potter and Fantastic Beasts Series of books and movies. Gelert Grindelwald is a dark wizard who was defeated by Albus Dumbledore. James Bond, George, The Eiger Sanction, North Face, Star Wars, The Golden Compass, and The Alps movies have been filmed on location in Grindelwald and it’s mountains.

I have had the privilege of being able to holiday in Switzerland on numerous occasions , everywhere I have been has been clean no rubbish . Lads used to leave their gloves and helmets on their mopeds while shopping . The scenery is to die for and don,t get me started on their pastries oh my god ,a lovely small monks church is in engelburg breath taking and a trip up mount pilatus well worth your money . Beautiful beautiful place.

I cannot think of a place that is so stunningly beautiful that can also be boring and flat after a while. Coming from a bustling, vibrant, developing country, I would be bored out of my mind within weeks of living in one of those quaint rural cottages. Especially in winter.

I’ve got to go back in the summer. I’ve only been in the winter. It was snowing at night time when we drove in so we didn’t get to really see anything and then we woke up the next morning and look at the hotel window and holy mackerel. The mountain is right in front of us.
Great memories. You walked right past our hotel, right past where we had amazing fondue next-door, he walked right past the little restaurant on top of the hill, where we had fresh goat that was hunted by the owner earlier in the week. The store I bought my Swiss Army knife,. And of course the grocery store where I was buying all that beer and soda
Summer is really beautiful, we also would like to do the winter season, it sounds wonderful then too. The scenery is definitely a wonderful surprise every morning, we camped in Stechelberg, right at the end of the Lauterbrunnen Valley, with the waterfalls and high cliffs all around us, it was amazing! We are so happy to have reminded you of such a great visit to Grindelwald, you have some great stories to tell and that’s what so brilliant about travelling to new places.
