What tips do you have for fixing video. I can add them to this comment.
Check that there are no silicone wires that have pulled out of your camera plug or any other plugs they can be really hard to find because the silicone part is still connected.
Auto scan is my number one tip
my drone is not on
I think at the beginning you forgot to tell "do you removed the lens cap ?" xD (happends me a lot of time lol ;) )

Would be really cool to see a bit more advanced video on the same topic, to solve the typical Day night colour shifting and flickering type of problems. Lots of us do not use the little osd remote that comes with the camera and actually know how to setup the camera to work perfectly for our conditions.

I’m a newb to FPV! I came here for answers and I you helped a lot! I have no experience w electronics or building them so this was informative.
Although you didn’t mention my specific problem which is:
my camera and signal is fine, I can fly the drone, but not safely! The video has a lot of black and white noise when the drone is armed. It’s mostly lines across the entire screen that are diagonal. I also notice that I do not have OSD, not sure how come so I gotta check the connections and maybe put it in betaflight
I’m going to try all the things you suggested and hopefully I can figure out the cause and fix it myself 💓

My DJI mini 4 pro fell down and the drone still turn on, but the gimbal stuck check started very late and the drone won't connect to rc
My cheap kmart folding drone is sending a wifi signal. It links and I checked with wifi tester. App shows no connection and of course no video. My phone and Android are compatible.
i crashed my drone a few years ago and when ever i plug in the battery the front right motor starts spinning until i disconnect battery even with the switch turned to off, i don't know what the issue is what to do?
