Please pray that I find my identity in Jesus. I’ve been trying to believe but it’s been really hard. Please pray for me 🙏🏼.
What about being a a pupil/student/disciple of Jesus, the purpose is the eternal life and being a priest together with the Son of Man
Pray and ask the Lord to become your guide and teacher.
Don't forget to read His words and the whole Bible.
Expect the Messiah to be your Master whatever you experience in your life, the Lord know what is needed, how and what to teach us, for us to be like him, cling to the words of Jesus, call on his name.
Trust the risen savior, he is the way, the truth and the life
Greetings. The Bible already tells you your identity in Christ. That’s were you’ll find the answer to those prayers.
Search the web for “In Him Scriptures PDF” - there should be a result that comes up from Victory Worship Centre.
Read those scriptures aloud to yourself (I like to read them in other more personal translations as well). Personalise them. Do it repeatedly. For example:
- “I am a new creation in Christ…”
- “There is no condemnation for me in Christ…”
- “I am a son of God through faith in Jesus Christ…”
As they sink in, you’ll start identifying yourself (and understanding your identity) more and more in Christ more, and less and less with things that don’t matter as much.
I pray this will help you and that to will start to recognise and understand your identity in Christ as you do this, and that God will give you the breakthroughs you need on this journey of finding your identity.
We are made in the image of God! That's our true idenitity!
