My daughter and I traveled from Toronto to Vegas to see Van the Man on October 7th. This is the first time I had seen him in concert. I can't say enough about this man. His voice at 77 is still incredibly strong. He sang a variety of songs from his vast library of tunes. His band was outstanding - all of them. If I get the opportunity I will definitely see him again. Thank you Van.
My wife and I are going to see Van in Vegas in September first time seeing him really looking forward to it. Using my 67th birthday as an excuse not that we need and excuse.
I drove 900 miles to see Van the Man and he did not disappoint!!! I also was at the Oct 9 show and he started the set as he should have, with DANGEROUS, a fabulous song protesting the BS lockdown, listen to the man.... His whole setlist was a message. His voice was fantastic, his band....well PHENOMENAL....venue, intimate, yeah, I missed Brown Eyed Girl but he more than made up for it with that spectacular version of The Healing Game. I can't wait to see him again...so sorry he had a year and a half when he could not perform!
I was there on 10/8, 640 mile drive. Agree with everything you said. Missed some of his old standards. But The Healing Game, no words…. Love Van the Man.
@OnceTheyNamedMEiWasn't His voice, his music literally saved my life over the past two years. I have shared his music with several people who have been suffering from a variety of anxiety issues. They have found such peace and healing in his music. I saw him for the first time in my 69 years in Vegas and I came away with such joy, peace, and healing. Thank you, Van❣️. After all, it's a healing game....
I waited over 50 yrs to finally see Van in concert!! We were there on October 9th @ Caesar's! Fabulous concert! He is a musical genius and I was not disappointed! I hope I can see him again! ♥️
My wife and I flew in from Michigan for this. We had a wonderful time. Saw Van previously in Chicago and Detroit. It's all about the music with Van the Man. His band is always tight. So glad he finished with In the Garden and sent us off with our "Holy Guardian Angel." Thanks for uploading.
Saw him in 1970 at Winterland and another time at the Fillmore West with Joe Cocker and the mad dogs and Englishmen. I also saw him opening for the Stones in Oakland. He is the most under-rated song writer that I know. He has not lost a step.
I also just saw the Oct. 9th show in Las Vegas and was beyond disappointed! What a ridiculous set of songs! C'mon Van, you played for 100 minutes but didn't think you should squeeze in Moondance, Brown-Eyed Girl, Domino, Into the Mystic. . .I could go on, but why list all of your biggest hits you failed to perform. I'm sure after 50+ years it's tiring and mundane for you to have to perform the songs your fans love, the songs you're most known for, and the songs that helped make you successful, but give it a try! Oh well, such is the life of an artist relegated to perform before a packed house of adoring fans. . .Do better!
Somebody should have stayed home and listened to Spotify. Have you kept up with Van's work since 1978? If so you would have known what to expect. Sounds like maybe you want a tribute show. I support van's latest record project, do you? I was at this show and it was absolutely beautiful. Every song was delivered with feeling and like he means what he is singing. Not mumbling through hits from nearly 50 years ago. A Van Morrison concert is a privilege and you should feel grateful to have even shared a room with such genuine genius.
" I listened to something 50 years ago now I want the performer to be exactly how they were on the record. There's no site where I can see what they are currently doing. No sites where I can look at previous setlist before I purchase a ticket . They can only do what I expect. If not I'll complain everywhere That will allow it. " I'm sure Van is heartbroken by your comment, here on a random users account.
He's never set out to play all his oldies. Ever. I go to hear his newer songs because they are all great and he's rhythm and blues- celtic soul and well done arrangements. The dude next to me came from NC just to hear Moondance. I'm delighted that he's not doing the same old expectation of brown eye girl, Moondance, Gloria. Been there before. not upset about hearing those "3", as they are great songs, but I'm a loving fan of his last several newer albums/songs. Superb band. I don't go to see van for the oldie nostalgia. Into the mystic is the greatest song ever written, but please understand that van plays mostly for a catalogue of mostly 43 albums. He's not relegated, he us van and plays what he's into and with the band he's put together each gig cycle. The horns and the percussionist and that organ. Joyful wonderful set. Hey, you got to hear wild night.
Van is always moving forward with his Music and not interested in looking back to the past , similar to Bob Dylan in a way - These Artists play what stimulates them musically of where they are in Life and Career so just Enjoy that they still perform Concerts at all

Must have been nice . I can barely drive the 36km to work
True dedication. Van has given us so many wonderful songs.

Saw him 10/7. Excellent musicianship, world class Van and everyone in the band. Sheer perfection. I am a lifelong Van fan.
Van...voice crystal clear
Hard to believe he's approaching 80. Voice still great!
Congratulations! A beautiful presentation! Van Morrison is "the best"!!!
I love this man xxxxx
I was at this show. What an incredible performance. Loved the added vibraphone player.
Thx for mentioning the vibraphone-was not aware of it and now know it is different than a xylophone. She’s multi talented.
