Quiang and Dan, i am afraid the longer you stay in the Philippines the more you are becoming a connoisseur of Filipino food, thus turning yourselves good ambassadors of this country. I admire you both for what you are doing.
Hi Joe, thank you! I'm a foodie. I love to eat all the food around the world. =) This time we stay longer in the Philippines, I learn more about the Filipino local dishes.
the Summer Capital is indeed a walkable city .... it caught the eyes of the Americans as haven during the war with its good vantage point.... and Camp John Hay is the place to witness some of the oldest homestead ...a good walking/jogging paths..hotels..restaurants,cafes.... lots of pines....enjoy the walk...beware of free rides around the city.
Therein Baguio,I need to check the Greek Restaurant, whose Chef is from Athens Also, anauthentic Korean Resto ,as well, when i travel to the Philippines next year. There is a Korean community in Baguio.
Been to Baguio with family many times, but it still enchants us with its natural beauty, climate and the peaceful ambience. Thank you for the updates and enjoy. Very nice presentation
I am eally happy to see my favorite city in Phil. I hope that you checke also the other unknown spots there which is a bit far from the city like the PMA academy and there ae also hidden spots there that are not known for touist
Looks like a great place. In Mexico the grilled corn is called Elote. Served with mayo, cheese, Chile pepper (taquien or similar), and lime juice. I love trying different coffee all over the world 🌎. Favorite Philipino dish is Adobo. Chicken or Pork. Never could get myself to try balut though. Have you tried it? I thought Jeepneys were the coolest ways to get around when I visited my sister and her husband in Imus Cavite. Thanks for sharing 👍
Next to the Little Flower Retreat House is Kamesita Hotel. It has a quaint cafe called Vanilla Cafe open to public. It should be your next stop when you have another chance to visit Baguio 😊❤️
Absolutely stunning and vibrant summer capital of the Philippines. Baguio City is one the best Tourist destination in the North. Cheers and have a lovely Monday.
Such a beautiful place you two are always able to bring out the details and highlights of such a nice place. The cooler weather is usually brought up in the conversation of Baguio as compared to other parts of the Philippines as with the pine trees.
Philippines used to be one of the largest exporters of coffee. Once it became one of the only source during coffee rust plague in 1887 to 1889. It is one of few countries that have the 4 main varieties. During American occupation, instant coffee was introduced. It was once the 4th largest coffee exporter during Spanish occupation. There are now movements to resurrect the coffee industry. The coffee in Baguio are considered heirloom, been there since the Spanish occupation.
Lovely compilation of a remarkable place that is a must-visit when visiting the Philippines. Hopefully, I will be there in a couple of weeks 🙂 I am getting off YT and social media in the next few days as I go on my travels. See you guys in November. Stay blessed always :)
It was nice to meet you guys too! 🥰Hope our path will cross again soon! Have a safe travels! Here is Dan Chiang Mai report vagabondbuddha.com/retire-chiang-mai-cheap/
I really loved this vlog of Baguio. I’ve seen areas and things I had never seen before from other vloggers. A lot of interesting subjects within a small timeframe. Excellent. Thank you so much guys. Watching from Southern California.👍🏼❤️
That’s a nice day. When it’s foggy for days, I think of England. It can get pretty cold at night but it’s worth a visit. The last time I was there is when Camp John Hay was still under US military control.
You guys mentioned the flash drives or hard drives. Can you share a little about your set up when it comes to saving all the footage that you take on your trips? I imagine you take gigs of photos and videos. How do you store it? I'd love some tips for when I go traveling as well. Also how much luggage do you guys carry?
My filipino wife and I love Baguio, but we also love Thailand more, we are moving in December to Chiang Mai. I see you and Dan are in thailand now, looking forward to your videos from Thailand!!!
Are you guys still in Philippines? i thought you guys left for other south east asian countries but i'm glad you are liking the country specially my favorite vacation spot whenever i am back in the P.I from San Francisco,Ca

Hi Bon, thank you so much for always support our channel. We will be back soon! We need to visit Cebu, Siargo, Borocay and many more. Take good care too!
It's exceptionally beautiful there. I love mountain scenery but have to be realistic about my knees. 30 years as FedEx courier wore them out. I see a lot of stairs and inclines in your Baguio videos. The other thing that anyone considering Baguio should know is it sits on a number of fault lines. They had a severe earthquake, 7.7, in 1990 that hit Baguio hard. That quake collapsed buildings in Baguio, and cut off road access for weeks. More than 1600 killed, and more than 120,000 displaced. Might never be a problem in your lifetime but one should be aware. Luzon had a 7.0 in July this year that shook Baguio pretty good. I'm not a fan of heat and humidity so lowlands Philippines not for me. Would definitely consider Baguio if I didn't have to be constantly climbing stairs. Was in Oaxaca last year which is fairly level at over 5000'. Absolutely nothing against the Philippines, would be amazing to be able to communicate in English.
Yes,i remember that quake very well.was in college then.did stay at hyatt hotel there, before it was destroyed .however,if its your time ,then so be it.despite, almost yearly quake in mexico city,i still frequent her.

Whenever you make a chili soy sauce maybe with vinegar, and there's calamansi, squeeze in the calamansi, it will taste 10x better.

Is the corn as good as Iowa Sweet Corn?

Entrance fee is really cheap. I think the people would still afford it if they increase it to 20 pesos?
