@@DOutlawpipes obviously loved it:). I love how he lovingly trolls Derek! Would’ve received a better laugh if everyone weren’t acting like this is Illinois funeral.
Jeff Anderson should be put in prison for how poorly he's officiated the big ten this year. It's not even one sided most of the time. He's just a terrible official. He's the new Ted Valentine.
Turnovers and poor shot decisions. Both are heavily contributed to by your best player. He has to be off the ball more. Let kylan go to the rim and find our shooters when the defense collapses.
We have to get back to the pick and roll and drive and kick games. Ben and Morez can play with their back to the basket and both are very capable in the pick n roll/pick n pop game, and we need to go back to that when we hit those long scoring droughts. I love Brad, but its tough to watch such a talented team be so completely incapable of making in-game adjustments when the game plan isnt working.
All the unforced turnovers were pretty hard to watch. I've also noticed when we fight back and get within 2 or 3 points, get the ball back and KJ will come down the court and try to force the ball and create another turnover. Then the opponent goes on another scoring spree. I agree with the other poster that mentioned this is a young team and make some "young" mistakes. Going back to the MSU game I don't understand why we took Riley out of the game after 6 shots make and he was the hottest shooter on the court. I also don't understand why Gibbs-Lawhorn was taken out with 9.6 seconds left when his shooting and defense really got us in the place to pull off the win. I'm sure it's a match up deal - maybe.
"We're 12-1 when we rebound and get 33% of our misses back and turn it over less than 18% of the time." Who isn't?! BTW, is the NIT worth a crap anymore?
Any coach that encourages a high volume of 3 point shooting with a poor 3 point shooting team has no clue what they are doing. There’s lot of high school coaches that run better stuff than Illinois does. Look at the tough shots Will Riley shoots every game. Illinois is flat out poorly coached and it starts with Underwood.
You're literally #300 in the country in 3 pt shooting. No sense changing anything, right? "We" must be the best 14-7 team in basketball, if you listen to BRAD. BTW, is the NIT worth a crap anymore?
Yeah, we're 14-0 when we win, 0-7 when we lose. Even though Ben and Will are tall, they're like toothpicks and get pushed around the paint like rag dolls.
come on Brad, still bashing piper? he asked a legitimate question the other night
his opening line was bashing? Gotta think Pipes laughed at it

Piper, I don't think Brad had much of a jump shot or Tyler kekekele keep asking the tough ones
Brad looks and sounds defeated
Time to toughen up and encourage your kids to do there thing. Come on Illini. Let’s go Brad.
Damn, what did Piper do? Lol

Ok let's concentrate on OS Brad !!
It's a shame that you had Kofi and Ayo for 3 years and never made it past the 2nd round.

13:29 a few is fine, yes. They are just so bad. Unforced, poor decisions by a young guy. It's OK to say that, Brad.

Keep shooting? Jesus....Humbrickhous continues to have the green light. He's starting smh
