A most excellent abbreviated review of the game. So much better than 95% of the other condensed RUclips game reviews. Most of them don’t even show the scoring and they cut off most of the comments coming from the games announcers in mid sentence. This was a refreshing change showing how it should be done.
Good job MLB/Fox. This was an amazing game. I loved hearing the gentleman from the Negro Leagues Museum in KC storytelling about some of the mythical-quality players that the negro leagues saw… Paige, Gibson, Mays… etc.
It was great the Cardinals got to play the Giants in this game since the MLB could have easily instead picked their main rival the Dodgers. I really enjoyed listening to all the baseball stories being told from the past. I grew up a Cards fan in the 1960s and my favorite player other than a Cardinal was Wille Mays and it was also a great tribute to him. The Cards games versus the Dodgers and Giants were my favorites in the 1960s. Go Cards
Donovan isn't truly a "native" of Alabama, as he was born in Germany. But I know that the people of Alabama, where he grew up, are very proud of him. 😊

This should have been 12-15 minutes long. Give the pregame the time it deserves and actually show more than six minutes of highlights from the game. The game highlights themselves were some of the worst I’ve seen this year. I really liked the pregame and am glad they included it, but why couldn’t they do that and give us adequate highlights of the game action?
Both teams reused their Negro League tribute unis from recent seasons, the Cards have worn these ones against KC a few times since 2020 and the Giants wore theirs at home a few years ago. Not sure why they didn’t make new ones for this occasion, but these ones are in the old template so they look a lot better.
Great game but the Cards got 2 gift runs. They had Winn dead to right but instead of the catcher running toward him and faking throws to 1st and 2nd he tossed it straight to 2nd and Winn just goes back to 1st. Thought they taught that play in little league.

Imagine your Adam Kloffenstein, after making your MLB debut with the St Louis Cardinals, and the teams RUclips channel couldn't include the 36 seconds of highlights MLB had of your complete inning. What a fcuking joke
Without Donovan, Burrelson, and Winn this team would be 30-44.
Winn could be both a contact hitter and slugger he’s young right now but next season he may be doing both hitting dingers and getting in base alot
