I know its alot to cover but theres alot of misinformation in the community and would love to have someone with a detailed perspective i can send people towards. Thank you! This was perfectly timed info ... I had done the 'long build' of the Epheria Sailboat in the Port Epheria boat yard (never again!) and was stuck at the 'what next?' question. The info you present helped me go from sailboat to Caravel in 4 days! An addendum that people might be able to leverage for this same step of the build (assuming they don't have bartering fully opened up to them) is the daily quest at Kuit Island. It is a simple grind quest for turning in three stacks of one thousand pirate bandanas and rewards you 300 crow coins for doing so. For me at the start of the Caravel upgrade, doing two days of this quest strait up bought me the four deep sea memory adhesive freeing up the barters for the ingots and plywood. Now someone with a Carrack and bartering fully open might not need this unless they are short a few crows and can't wait for barter reset to buy that last mat from the shop. Thanks again! 😁

If you are new and first ship, solo player and just chill, from my experience "DO THE IMPROVED". it takes longer time ask help from other player than do it your self.
really good guide only thing id add is you actually underplayed the croc grind a bit. the croc chest however give a LOT of blue gear mats for your carrack, once you have your blue cannons on a valor/volante grinding crocs is actually really fast way to get your gear aside from the sunsets. croc scales combine with violent scales to make a 7 ccoin mat that you need for your blue gear but once you have 400 of those you can just sell the excess as crow coins to fund your map openings. the symbol drop rate was supposedly datamined a while ago to be 1% at oquilla and .5% at the other spots. i would honestly recommend just grinding 2m ccoin if you want it.
It definitely can be kind of confusing to just jam higher end advice or explanations in the middle of things. While the video is full of good information, things should maybe be in order of when you have to worry about them. Perhaps that is the nature of doing this all live, but in that case perhaps doing a guide live isn't actually that great of an idea without heavier editing.

very nice guide, as an ocean enjoyer i'd like to add that the value pack for bartering also helps for getting more points for refreshes. and bartering for a nol takes about 1 year instead of 2. Also if you open the barter window while you're looking at the map, you can click on the barter, and the map will move to it so you don't have to look for it.
true. that is the tech. I can kind of just see which sides are corners and which are middle pieces. You can look up the completed version for reference as well.
Very good guide tyvm!! Could you give a honest idea of what you can make (on average) a day doing all resets and how long it takes? When i did it, 2 - 3 years ago it was kinda dissapointing, 600 - 800 mil after 4 resets ( 3 - 4 hours). Problem is ppl lie about there income so i don't trust randoms. Tyvm and keep it coming.

For Hakoven I have a second alt pre 50 which stays at Ancado Inner Harbor with an extra sailboat and I just transport t5 mats from Iliya to Ancado. I learned this from a Kyrandis video back in the day I think.
Very thorough guide. I coincidently got into boat content 1 week ago cause of grinding burnout. Originally only ordered an epheria sailboat to have a repairable ship for sacraia abyssal lol, now I have a caravel and am doing the sailies. I especially like the tip to get a barter alt... got my own lvl 20 corsair now to leech xp from dailies and barter on eventually. Bartering on my main has been very... time consuming and I hardly even have time to do the jettina daily, now I'm just trying marni realm 1h/day doing jettina within that time span, and then it's back to bartering, the real game xD Just to be clear though, it's impossible to do the oquilla ocean sailies on my barter alt, since I read you'd need lvl 50+ to fire boat cannons? Once I've finished my carrack, do I need to continue with the oquilla dailies or can I just barter on my alt? With the bartering carrack as 1st one, is it worth it to go for a 2nd one and sit through a month of dailies again, or just go for the LomL ship as combat option since it only requires 1 weekly?
You do not in any way need to complete the Oquilla's Eye Quest Line to barter. The only real reason to do it is to give you sailing exp. However, I do mention in the guide that if you are sub 50 you will be unable to complete it which is why I recommended accepting and completing sailing quests on different characters in order to get your exp. Only reason really to do Oquillas is bc you are bartering on a 50+ and want to get skilled sailing quickly.

@@Imicicle The sailies should be your limiting factor if you are trying to speed run the carrack building process. So long as you are doing bartering every day for at least 2 refreshes or so you will hit 3k just fine. Just know that after you hit 3k then you gotta do a bunch of ship material refreshes too to get the 60 brilliant mats you need. Make sure you are doin those sailies every day though. Tear of the ocean is tough.

I just do not understand how to get t1 bartering items to start . I don't see nothing on how to craft them or buy them like fertil soil I need but can't find how to get it??? I'm very new only a bartali boat with 3 slots yes I know not a great thing to start but just wanted to do it once so I know how to for future use

hi, can i ask, how necessary is it to wear the ugly shark outfit like that? is it often that you miss the docks when jumping off, and if i dont have shark if i miss, does it slow down bartering tremendously? i was looking forward to get into bartering but if the ugly shark outfit is necessary it will turn me off from it 100% . looking kawaii is absolutely necessary for me in this game .
I feel this on a spiritual level. If you are playing Corsair it’s not necessary at all. Also if you got the deep sea diving suit from the recent event that is fine. You do miss the dock or the boat from time to time but this can be completely avoided depending on how you want to run into port. Not necessary overall to wear the shark outfit. It was also a dealbreaker for me at first. I like wearing the captains hat and the skimpy sailor outfit
Ya that is fine then. Just blast out as many trades as you can but you end up with so much less materials it harms you long term. Doing 1->3 exchanges ensures you always materials to complete any trade you run into. 1->1 will inevitably leave you empty and missing trades
@BlueSquadron can you be more in-depth your reasoning of why Balance is considered a mistake because to me Valonte would be the mistake only being usable for moving trade crates from Val to Nampoo
there is no moving trade goods from val to nampoo, trading was removed and no one does active ship trading. No barter routes run there either. Volante is a great boat for everything because it is SO fast that the 2 biggest things that matter while bartering is weight and speed in that order. Volante is also incredibly good at pvp and PvE. Balance is not good at pve or pvp and it has lackluster weight for the tradeoff. Just is mediocre at everything
@@filipenunes9888 it’s more of a meme from his more recent patch notes review from last week. Essentially the only thing out of date is they moved some dailies that had to do with bartering onto the island of Iliya and not OE.
I have no idea in what world collecting 2 mil coins takes over 2 years if you assume doing all barters everyday. You can easily earn 6-7k coins per day (especially with last tier 5 mats price buffs) which makes it less than one year to save 2 mil.
You cannot sustain 6-7k crow coins a day. To imply that you can is lying sadly. You could possibly do it for a while until your stock pile ran out but because of how parley works you dont have enough parley to do all your crow coin barters every day AND make sure you are re-stocking supply. Inevitably what happens is sometimes you can do a lot of crow coins, and others you have to restock supply and you get way less. Average comes down quite a bit.

yep you need +10 blue gear. It is essentially the same process as the green, but u gotta do the dailies to get them

Yes, but you will need to keep a few to keep bartering to your t2's. But generally almost all your t1s early on go to the verdant stones

Use 50 of the new shataku seals for a frigate. I built my frigate from scratch, do not do that. Your workers will be going at it for a month

you swap them for normal mats you get through gathering,crafting or buying , you can find these exchanges in the bartering menu.

Making the ships outright has become a lot less daunting since they nearly cut the material cost in half.

Same way as before. Its all one stone now you just use varying amounts of them to do everything.

hi, can i ask, how necessary is it to wear the ugly shark outfit like that? is it often that you miss the docks when jumping off, and if i dont have shark if i miss, does it slow down bartering tremendously? i was looking forward to get into bartering but if the ugly shark outfit is necessary it will turn me off from it 100% . looking kawaii is absolutely necessary for me in this game .
I feel this on a spiritual level. If you are playing Corsair it’s not necessary at all. Also if you got the deep sea diving suit from the recent event that is fine. You do miss the dock or the boat from time to time but this can be completely avoided depending on how you want to run into port. Not necessary overall to wear the shark outfit. It was also a dealbreaker for me at first. I like wearing the captains hat and the skimpy sailor outfit

Ya that is fine then. Just blast out as many trades as you can but you end up with so much less materials it harms you long term. Doing 1->3 exchanges ensures you always materials to complete any trade you run into. 1->1 will inevitably leave you empty and missing trades

@BlueSquadron can you be more in-depth your reasoning of why Balance is considered a mistake because to me Valonte would be the mistake only being usable for moving trade crates from Val to Nampoo
there is no moving trade goods from val to nampoo, trading was removed and no one does active ship trading. No barter routes run there either. Volante is a great boat for everything because it is SO fast that the 2 biggest things that matter while bartering is weight and speed in that order. Volante is also incredibly good at pvp and PvE. Balance is not good at pve or pvp and it has lackluster weight for the tradeoff. Just is mediocre at everything

It's based on the trading that was done during the Silk Road era in history. A lot of trading was done on land and sea.

@@filipenunes9888 it’s more of a meme from his more recent patch notes review from last week. Essentially the only thing out of date is they moved some dailies that had to do with bartering onto the island of Iliya and not OE.
I have no idea in what world collecting 2 mil coins takes over 2 years if you assume doing all barters everyday. You can easily earn 6-7k coins per day (especially with last tier 5 mats price buffs) which makes it less than one year to save 2 mil.
You cannot sustain 6-7k crow coins a day. To imply that you can is lying sadly. You could possibly do it for a while until your stock pile ran out but because of how parley works you dont have enough parley to do all your crow coin barters every day AND make sure you are re-stocking supply. Inevitably what happens is sometimes you can do a lot of crow coins, and others you have to restock supply and you get way less. Average comes down quite a bit.
