Different angles, showing components you're talking about. This almost worked better as something to have on in the background than as a video to watch
Yeah, it's something I did notice during editing that the stills just don't cut it. It's a bit difficult to get nice screenshots or even footage of vehicles you don't own in WT sadly. I could try Nvidia ansel again to get more interesting screenshots in the hangar, but for some reason that software is a chore to use for me. But definitely something that needs more attention when the next update rolls around
BR compression is even more ridiculous in coastal tree. At 4.3 sits pr.206, it's not even funny how overpowered it is. It gets boat spawn and if you see it in pretty much any other small boat, you will die! It also has one of the best torpedoes in the game. It should be at least at 6.0, fighting other superboats from 60's and surprising top tier capital ships.
And to think Mogador is still heavily buffed in game, one does wonder just how bad it would be if it had the actual reload speed, it should be maximum 4 shells a minute, and the hoists were so weak it could not load at more than 9 degrees of angle, an unprecedentent level of bad quality equipment, even for the bad 1930s french standards.
What are you sources I'm curious because French navy in the 1930 was everything except bad like it was the 4th navy in the world before Germany or even Italy so I'd be glad to know from where u got that info.
@@kj4671 Naval Weapons of World War Two by Campbell, and the works by Robert Dumas, the guns were the most problematic in the entire french navy , they had a very slow drum hoist that severly slowed reload, it was tried to be fixed but France surrended before, also i said 1930s, not 1930, i dont know if you know, but Frances only really good ships of those years were the Le Galissionere and the Algeriè. All other heavy cruisers had enormous deficencies in armor, stemming from the bad metallurgical sector in france just after ww2, the Dunquerkes had bad dispersion, AA was almost 0, the contre torpellier had awful stability and their guns were very slow to reload and especially in a long battle. Also France s navy was not better than Italy s in the 1930s, it barely matched Italy in number of some surface unit types but each ship was worse than the italian ships. France s smaller ship sector was awful too, its submarines a decade behind everyone also and its ASW both in number and quality was very bad, do i continue?
@@retteip8276 No? No major french ship was "upgraded" to an extent they would be more competitive that much apart from simple AA in 1936, actually about those years was when France put half of their battleships as reserve/training ships. What ships are you reffering to?
The problem with raising the battle ratings, falls on the possible aircraft that they will face especially in enduring confrontation. Raising the battle ratings too high on world war II ships will result in them facing aircraft that would be able to engage them with impunity, just as it's a little broken when you have surface-to-air guided missile destroyers and coastal vessels facing off against world war II propeller airplanes like we have now with the Douglas and whatever that Russian guided missile destroyer is
that shouldn't be a problem though because they made it so that aircraft can have different BR's depending on the game mode. So really all they need to do is just move *all* jets to something stupid like 12.0 in naval only for example, and then filter them back in where they could possibly fit.
With as many zero visibility weather games as i have been getting here lately they should go ahead and start night matches. I think doing them initially on the circle of death maps to get folks used to them would be the way to go.
