- BHTM is trekking outside the lines with our Monsters Music Monthly series. A conventional album cycle is fine, but how about a new free song and video from your favorite band every month just to spice things up?!
We hope you enjoy our April 2021 release, 'Fortune Teller'. 'Fortune Teller' first appeared on 'All the Love You Need' which was produced by the late, great David Bianco. David had a vast knowledge of Bruce Springsteen, having worked with him a lot. We had a discussion that helped me (Todd) finish the song. I was kind of at an impasse writing it. But after that day, I went to sleep on it and had a dream that Bruce Springsteen went to jail to cover for a woman who had shot her raging husband. That gave me a clear path to finishing the lyrics because I finally understood what the song was about. The next day I sang it, and it was done. This version is a more sprawling arrangement that works well for us live.

Love this band live! Saw them every February in Minneapolis, but this year my kids bought us tickets to Red Rocks!! Can not wait! I am praying the show happens!

Love this version, especially Jeremy's solo at the beginning! All of the band is fantastic, but Jeremy just amazes me with all the instruments he plays. I've seen you guys in concert 4 times and can't wait till you're close enough to us to see again!

Just saw BHTM in KC. Ticket on a whim. Unbelievable band and music. The Fortune Teller is my favorite song that I hadn’t heard before.

I 1st saw y'all in 94 in Birmingham Alabama and have been hooked since. Last show was in Camdenton MO and no one was there. We had y'all to ourselves and it was FUCKING AWESOME! Hated it for y'all and Los Lobos but one of the best shows I've ever seen.

BHTM still rockin on 30+ years after I started lovin your music at CU in Boulder in 1987. BHTM was the last show I saw before the pandemic 2/28/2020 at the Capital Theater in Portchester, NY. Thanks for hitting that spot every year fellas and brining back the memories. Including my years at CU, there is no band that I have seen more (200+ easy) and has been such an inspiration all these years!!! Thx guys!!!
