Ah wow that sounds like an epic adventure guys! Thank you for that lovely comment,' we're so glad it came across in the right way! Hope you guys are well!

One of your best shows yet. The filming and atmosphere was just amazing. Brings back memories of when I was there some 40 years ago. Thanks for sharing, stay safe and continued great exploring.

Ah thank you for the lovely comment Chris! Glad you liked it! We had great fun experiencing it and filming it! Hope you are having a good start to your week? ❤
Thank you guys! We are very happy it came across that way! We wanted to show everything and try and bring you along on the journey so we're happy that is what you got 😂 Think you'd enjoy going to a festival like that? Hope you're well!
You guys are simply ADORABLEEEE!!!! I love your vibe! You won my heart as soon as you tried that random man's Lablebi. (Although a delicious dish, if you're not the one putting together and mixing it, it can look gross. You shared the bowl of a random dude in this very popular type area...I was like, WOW! I would have passed, and I'm Tunisian.....that is real and real genuine decency there! Good for you!
Thanks Ruth! Yeah it was manically busy, a bit overwhelming to start with but once you're in it, you start to love it more and more! We're excited to show you everything we can! Is there anything in particular you want to see? Any questions you've got about the country? Might be able to cover them in future videos 👍
Hari Om Oh my word... I savoured every moment of this video - all that noise, that colour, that mayhem... that joie de vivre! Yup, that was special! YAM xx
So nice of you! Thanks Yam. We loved every second of the madness and have such good memories from this day (and now a video to look back on!) Hopefully plenty more memories to come.
Thank you! Will do! We already have 3 more videos filmed which we need to get edited from our first month here and then we have another 2 months left so there will be looooots of Tunisia content to come each week!
Ah that sounds great! We did not know this name Derja so thank you for teaching us it! We are already thinking about when to come back! We still have 6 weeks in Tunisia so lots more to explore!
Absolutely loving your Tunisia series guys ❤️❤️ your videos are so beautiful, lots of crazy energy in this one. Ps. I would love to see you with a bird 🤣🤣🤣

Awesome guys. What an experience that most of us will never do. Many thanks for taking us with you. I am very impressed with the Tunisian people who, at least from this video, didn't try to intrude your space. Great video - Merci beaucoup!!
Hi Brian! thank you for the lovely comment! The people have been amazing, honestly so kind and so helpful no matter what they are talking to us about. We've not had any pressure or intrusions yet! Glad you enjoyed it and hopefully we'll see you on the next one?

Ah thank you for the lovely comment! We are very happy to have you subscribed to us! We hope to show lots more of the beautiful country in our videos! There will be at least 10 more in Tunisia! They take a long time to edit 😂
Thanks alot for this video promoting the tunisian tourism. We'd like very much to see wonderful people like you around and I do agree for what you said that people are people :)
Thank you! Yes, people are people and 99% of the people we've met here have been lovely, welcoming and can't do enough for us! We're hoping that all our videos show off this country and help show tourists it is somewhere they should visit! Our next video is out tomorrow and shows Chenini and the very south :)
Thank you for your visit and welcome ! If you're still in the south do not hesitate to visit Matmata and see the underground houses where some of the locals live !
Thank you Ahmed! We did not stop in Matmata because we did see troglodyte houses in Turkey last year, but we did go to Ksar Mbratine and Chenini which we will show in a couple of videos time!
Incredible I missed this video. Glad I saw it. Great adventures 👍 As people travel the world we get to see like you talked about that we are very similar. Well done. Perfect spot with your "press pass" what great footage and photos.
We are in Monastir for the next couple of days and then we will visit Sousse before going inland to the hills around Jendouba and Ayn Darahim. We have lots more videos filmed in the South which we did not release yet either :)
Thank you Julie for the lovely comment! We're glad it was a good experience to watch, you never know how mad things like that will come across to the viewer! Yes those doors were stunning! We do love a door on this channel 😂
Thank you so much for the offer of hospitality! We already visited Djerba a couple of weeks ago but those videos are not out yet. We are now near Sbeitla and heading north towards Kairouan over the next few days. (also, 2 new episodes of our time in the sahara desert are going live tonight at 7pm so you can binge 2 episodes in one go!)
21:22 I can understand what you are talking about.. but i absolutely sure that these camels were treated way better than millions of industial intensive animals growing in Europe, that areive very clean in your dish, but behind the scene was a big desastre And this still the way how people eat since thousands of years .. Anyway i thank you for your video It is an amiazing video 😊
Thank you Richie! We certainly did, best way to experience something like that is just jump in and trust it will be fun! We met a few people from Switzerland and Austria (who usually attend the festival) but I think it was mostly north African people there, good vibes though!

Thank you so much for the lovely comment, we're really happy the video came across well! We've heard we both look the part with the headwear on from a few people now 😂 Thank you for the complement on our filming too, we took so much footage of the event! There was a lot of time spent on it haha

That was f’in awesome! Great work 👏👏👏👏. Just came across your channel yesterday. Have caught up on a few. Loved the spray job in Turkey. Looking forward to the next instalment 😊
Ah thank you Julian and lovely to have you along for the ride! Yes the spray job was quite the job and it is still looking good today! Next one will be out on Monday with a 4x4 adventure into the Sahara! See you there!
Well thank you for this video about Tunisia. I am sorry with what happened with that young guy (sadly there are some non behaved people everywhere). I am originally from sfax, and I know the struggle to drive there and sadly it's not the cleanest city that you can visit. I am happy that you had a good experience at the end. I am not sure about the animals heads in the butcher but I guess it's a sign that that animal is freshly slaughtered (I know it doesn't look good and can be extremely shocking for non locals) but for someone who eats meat I can tell that the local fresh meat is way better compared to supermarket meat sold in Europe. I hope you had some good day in Tunisia!
Hey! Thanks for the comment! We are having a great time in Tunisia and everyone is being so welcoming (much more friendly than many English people back home 🤣!) Don't worry about the young guy in Sfax, we understand there are some rude people everywhere in the world. We enjoyed the Medina so much - a very historical and interesting place!
Wow that was a very colourful and noise kaos....but so exciting and challenging n rewarding experience guys ....loved it 💕🙏💕🙏🧡💛🧡what a tremendous opportunity to see ....... 🤠🐨🦎🦘🎈Thank you for allowing us to enjoy that with you ...xxxxx 💕🙏💕🙏💕🙏💕
Thank you Mike! That is a great way of describing that festival for sure! Yeah we're loving it, not had a bad experience yet and feel safe and free! Hope you're doing well and 2023 is looking good for you!
Hi guys and welcome to Tunisia where you can find mountains, deserts, oasis, and sea in one place (idk why this sounds like a JUMANJI intro) I was thinking to suggest some places to visit since you still there in Tunisia, you should definetely see (you can make this as your check list) - Sidi Boussaid (Capital Tunis, it looks like greece with its white walls and blue doors, it will give you the feeling that you're in Santorini) - Carthage (Capital Tunis) - The national Bardo Museum (capital Tunis) - Café Panorama (one of the most known coffees in capital Tunis since it has a perfect location to see the whole view of the capital from above) - Zaitoona Mosquee (Capital Tunis, one of the oldest mosquees of the whole Islamic world) - Hammamet (very known for its beautiful beaches and hotels) - Nabeul (one of the best cities when it comes to clean seas and sand beaches, actually some of these beaches are ranked among the top beaches in the entire world like "hammam Ghzez" beach) - Ribat of Monastir (Monastir) - Dougga (Beja, Roman Ruins) - Bulla Regia (Tabarka, Roman Ruins) - Ancient Sufetula (Sbeitla) - El jem (2nd biggest amphitheater in the world after the colossuem of Italy, actually it looks the same) - El menzel (Gabes, narrow streets with doors painted in yellow and decorated with flowers and plants in either sides of the stoned streets) - Matmata (Gabes, where they filmed some scenes of Star wars, because it looks like the moon surface there with these big holes under the earth in which people actually live) - Djerba hood (Jerba Island, a very creative Graffiti art drawn in every corner of the streets there) - Ksar Ghilene (Tataouine) - Kssour (Tataouine) - Tamaghza (Tozeur) (I will keep updating this list once I remember more locations)
Haha we love that is sounds like Jumanji! It certainly is a country that has everything! Thank you so much for taking the time to write these places to us! We have saved them to our map and we cannot wait to explore them! We have just been to Tamaghza and had a great time exploring the oasis and mountains! Hopefully we will show your country is a lovely place to visit in the coming videos. Thank you again and we hope you are well?
@@courtsandmeeks I am fine thanks, I am a tunisian living in Prague, Czech Republic but I wish I was there in Tunisia to help you when needed, I know how it feels when you cannot speak the local language of a country but try to ask younger generations since they are the ones expected to speak english, the older ones are more into french. Also, if you're planning to visit Tatouine remeber to try "Mahshee Tataouine" or "Garn Ghzel" (it is basically the same thing, it is a kind of sweets filled with almonds and nuts and submerged in honey - google it), also the ksours that you are going to see in Tataouine were used to store food (natural fridge) as well as to live inside it because its architecture make it cold when the heat is rising outside. And if you are planning to visit Kairouan (4th most important city in the islamic world after Mekkah and Medina and jerusalem - find more information about it on wikipedia), remember to try "Makaroudh" it is basically a paste filled with dates from the inside and submerged in honey, Kairouan is very famous for these sweets as well as carpets and the Mosque of "Okba Ben Nafaa" I know it may sound boring to read about a city on wikipedia or google but believe me when I say every single city in Tunisia has its own story and history, exploring it with that knowledge in your heads will make your trip in a whole other level of fun and joy (for example, Kairouan is in the middle of the Tunisian map to keep it away from marine attacks, its position was chosen stratigically during the old wars) Ah, one more thing, did you know that the name of the continent "Africa" was the name of Tunisia in the early centuries of the islamic period before becoming the name of the whole continent? Its name was "ifriqiyyah". Chocking right ? That's why I am saying it is a country full of history but need some google and wikipedia researches and you will be astonished about the history hidden in Tunisia. Enjoy your trip guys, peace 👋 (oh yeah, "salam" which is the arabic greeting means "peace")
we apologize for that kid's behaviour 😢😢🙏🙏 i hope that u had fun while u where here in tunisia and i wish u all the best guys ur content is awesome keep up 👌😍🥰🥰
Thank you, it hasn't impacted our time here and he is the only person that hasn't been super welcoming and friendly. We're having a great time and loving Tunisia! We still have loads more places to share with you! Another video comes out tomorrow, hopefully you can watch it :)
Thanks for the fast forward warning for the camel heads. No no no to camel fighting and rabbit chasing but it is their culture and what an experience. Great honest vlog
Ah thank you for letting us know that was useful. We want to show all the parts of what we see (the good and the bad) but I think that needed to come with a warning! We're veggie so it was a bit of a shock to see and I agree with the other bits too, a bit much for us but as you say, this is their culture - we are there to experience it, share it with you and not judge. Hope you're having a good week so far? Thanks again for the comment!
@@courtsandmeeks I was upset about the rabbit because I have randomly been feeding a wild rabbit for 2 years on the small moated field next to my house, (so randomly that he cannot rely on it) and on New Year's Eve some idiots were on there setting off very very loud fireworks and I haven't seen him since I think he's had a heart attack 😞

Thank you houssem that is very kind of you! We are slowly heading north now and have much to see, the Tunisian people have sent us so many places to visit I think we could spend a year here and not see it all! We will message if we need you. Thank you my friend
Glad you enjoyed your time in Sfax. It's one of my favourite cities in Tunisia (a very controversial opinion for most Tunisians! 🤣) I have been living and working here for the past three years researching the upcoming Bradt Travel Guide to Tunisia, which will be published in June 2023. Douz Festival of the Sahara is a real highlight, glad you're getting to experience it!
Hi ,Looks like great fun , but having been there 50 years ago , the roads have got a little better, but life seems to be the same hustle and crowded place .I did get offered 4 camels , for the wife at that time , should have taken his offer ? . It was a great shock to us as a 10 year old girl , living in a tent in some sand dunes with her family , could speak 7 different languages . How little we knew of real life . A great video and thanks for sharing .
Wow, that little girl must have been an incredible person to meet if she spoke so many languages. We find it so fascinating to meet people from different walks of life on our travels - it's the main reason we do this!
@@courtsandmeeks Yes I clicked on it when I saw the Sahara Desert Festival in Tunisia also there is another festival that's a bit smaller in Tozeur which has better organization from what im told
Places i advice you to visit :djerba jarjiss kerkinah tozeur klibia and haouria they are close to each other bizete also is beautifulk and tabarka tunisian are mostly down to earth and nice but be carefull anyway .you are welcome among us
Thank you so much for your recommendations. We have a lot of these pinned and will Be heading to the north soon so will visit them. We are always careful and am sure we will Olmert lots of lovely Tunisian people, a very welcoming place! Thank you my friend
Some great work on your vlogs and the quality is rise quite a bit. I am always impressed that you manage to survive the heat in a van with no air conditioning. Do you just use lots of fans to try and keep cool? I know Tunisia won't be as hot at this point of the year.
Thank you very much! We believe our vlogs have improved a bit over the last year too so we're glad it's noticeable. We don't have air con but typically when it's really hot we just have the doors open as none of our windows open either. We don't normally travel places during their really hot months as the van is not built for extreme weathers. Hope you're doing well! Sorry it's taken us a few days to reply to your comment!!.
That was quite an adventure. I have been down to Douz, but no Sahara festival was on then, just got a camel ride into the Sahara and had a meal in a Bedouin tent 🤣 Saying that, I really don't like animal cruelty so would have probably left. I do also remember seeing camel heads and legs hanging in butchers and trying to not catch a glimpse walking past each time 🤢 Looking forward to the next part. I do love the architecture.
Well you'll enjoy next week's video then (hint hint we get a 4x4 into the middle of the desert and camp out on Christmas!) Yes, we're the same on animal cruelty and being veggies its been a shock seeing the full heads and hoofs in the butchers outside but it's just a different culture. This is the norm here and they would equally probably be surprised or shocked to see all our meat in perfect packages back home!
First of all i hope you enjoyed your time in Tunisia in general and specially in Douz my hometown , that festival is over 50 years old and it used to be called the day of the camel since for bedouin people the camels are considered the main wealth (transportation, food, trade asset ...) The festival was used to be for bedouin tribes that live in the desert across the north-african countries to come and show power and claim prestige after having camel races, fights plus dog hunting competition and "mougaf" ball matches and the winner tribes should claim glory until the next year when the festival is hold again, in-between all that action girls wear the best clothes and traditional music bands preform. It all may seem choatic for you but the bedouins used to live like that moving from place to place seatching for water sources but now to the development of the technology people have settled in one place, the festival may have becae bigger and got many add-ons due to entertainment and show reasons but still it did not lose the core value of it . I will be following your journey, peace !
Wow that's so cool to learn about the festival history. Thank you for sharing your local knowledge. We had heard it started as a camel festival many many years ago and even time before that it was also a meeting point where at the festival people would pair up their sons and daughters for marriage as it was a good opportunity to scout out "talent".

you should go to Kerkennah island, it's super cool ! the departure is from sfax by boat !
Thanks! We have so many places on the map to see but we won't get to see them all I don't think.
Just finished watching the video guys,it was tremendous all the colours and smells must have been exciting for you both. Can't wait to see the next one take care and stay safe xxPat
Our pleasure! The festival was like nothing we've ever experienced before and we loved the colourful chaos of it all!
Well what a fantastic video. I love the city of Sfax as it is not very touristy. Great to see you enjoyed the Douz Festival. Cannot wait for the next episode
Our pleasure Peter! We loved experiencing, filming and editing this video. We had so much footage it was just hard to choose what to include haha!
Wow, I just started following you guys about a month ago! What an epic trip, experiences, and an amazing video!🙌❤️
Welcome aboard! Thanks a lot for joining the channel and really glad to hear we're delivering some exciting content that you're enjoying. We just love showing off places that don't get much airtime and that push our comfort zones - Tunisia is definitely delivering!
Blimey, that was an ‘all go’ episode…Loved it! 🥰👊🏼
The 'all go' episodes are our fav kind!
That was WOW!!! Right out there bloody amazing.
Talk about taking yourself out of your comfort zone !
Great video as ever the bloody BBC should be after you two.
Thanks for making
Take care and stay safe
Fantastic content, thank you so much for sharing! I'm sure the positive attitude of the people you met was in response to yours particularly speaking one of the languages of the country, definitely you are travellers not just tourists, thanks for taking us along, looking forward to your next adventures! 🐫 🐫 🐫
Thank you Susan! I (courts) only speak a tiny few phrases in French but it has helped a little with directions at least and generally being able to understand what people are asking of us. We're glad you're enjoying Tunisia series sofar!
Oh, oh, oh, I loved this! You 2 are amazing!
Ah thank you for the lovely comment Chris! Glad you liked it! We had great fun experiencing it and filming it! Hope you are having a good start to your week? ❤
That is AWESOME! a bit frenetic... a bit cultural... a bit action oriented... a bit of... everything!
Wowzer!! So so busy there. I have been looking forward to your Tunisia adventures and can't wait to see more of the country x
Thanks Ruth! Yeah it was manically busy, a bit overwhelming to start with but once you're in it, you start to love it more and more! We're excited to show you everything we can! Is there anything in particular you want to see? Any questions you've got about the country? Might be able to cover them in future videos 👍
Hari Om
Oh my word...
Wow awesome video. the memories you are making are unbelievable and i cant wait to see the rest of the journey. Keep them coming guys
Thank you! Will do! We already have 3 more videos filmed which we need to get edited from our first month here and then we have another 2 months left so there will be looooots of Tunisia content to come each week!
So interesting!!! Thank you for capturing and sharing ❤️ I am from Africa and never knew about this festival 🤗
Ah that is very good we have brought you something new! Thank you for your comment! Hope you are having a good week 🧡
Amazing experience. Loved your film.
Ah thank you so much for the lovely comment! Hope you have had a good start to the year?
You're always welcome, in Tunisia. The next time you guys come back, I'll be glad to teach you some DERJA [Tunisian dialect] + Tunisian customs.
Ah that sounds great! We did not know this name Derja so thank you for teaching us it! We are already thinking about when to come back! We still have 6 weeks in Tunisia so lots more to explore!
Wow, just wow !
thank you thank you thank you!
Absolutely loving your Tunisia series guys ❤️❤️ your videos are so beautiful, lots of crazy energy in this one. Ps. I would love to see you with a bird 🤣🤣🤣
Thaaaanks!! A subscriber told us if we get a budgie we have to get 2 because otherwise they get lonely 🤗 so yay for 2 birds 🤣

You said you are not media.. Your presentation and content are at least equal and in most cases better than so called mainstream media.. Well done you guys.. Terrific stuff !!
Wow John, that is a huge compliment! Cheers for the kind words 🤗 hope you're having a good week?
That looked crazy fun. Loved every moment of it. Thanks guys.
Ah thank you Drew for the lovely comment! We are really happy it was a good watch! Hopefully next week lives up to the same standards - we are driving the van in the desert and in a 4x4 so hopefully it has a chance!
I would love to go to that festival thankyou
So excited that I'll be visiting Tunisia in May, 2025.
Thanks
Awesome guys. What an experience that most of us will never do. Many thanks for taking us with you. I am very impressed with the Tunisian people who, at least from this video, didn't try to intrude your space. Great video - Merci beaucoup!!
Hi Brian! thank you for the lovely comment! The people have been amazing, honestly so kind and so helpful no matter what they are talking to us about. We've not had any pressure or intrusions yet! Glad you enjoyed it and hopefully we'll see you on the next one?
Enjoy Tunisia! An interesting country!
Very interesting so far! We are loving every moment of it!
That's epic access "You look like you should be in VIP/media so go this way" what a bonus!
Ha I know, such a lucky experience to be able to have got into the actual event arena! Glad you enjoyed it! Hope you're doing well!
I am originally from the South of Tunisia but I never had the chance to go to the Sahara Festival. WOW! I did not expect it to be that busy. Cool!
It was craaaaazy and coooool, all at the same time. Should definitelty be on everyone's bucket list!
Fabulous footage🙂
Thank you Helen! That comment means a lot! We took SO MUCH footage of the event haha - was hard to sift through it all! Hope you are having a good start to your week?
Wow.. I'm Tunisian and Sfax never cease to amaze me, in a very negative way!!!
We enjoyed the medina at Sfax but we heard from other residents that the boy upon entering was very rude to us when we didn't give him money.
That was epic!
Thank you Samir! We had so much fun at the festival. It was a real rollercoaster experience for us!
Thank u for this video about our beautiful country ❤️❤️ u two looks friendly and kind a new subscriber here ❤️🇹🇳😍
Ah thank you for the lovely comment!

You have to visit sidi bou said and Tunisia centre fancy place hammamet Sousse klibia benzart this places
We are in Monastir for the next couple of days and then we will visit Sousse before going inland to the hills around Jendouba and Ayn Darahim. We have lots more videos filmed in the South which we did not release yet either :)

WoW that was fabulous, what an experience, so much to take in and see. PS some beautiful doors…..

I can understand what you are talking about.. but i absolutely sure that these camels were treated way better than millions of industial intensive animals growing in Europe, that areive very clean in your dish, but behind the scene was a big desastre
And this still the way how people eat since thousands of years ..
Anyway i thank you for your video
It is an amiazing video 😊

Well you threw yourselves into the festival. Not many European faces in the crowed haha. You both looked stunning in the headgear.
Thank you Richie! We certainly did, best way to experience something like that is just jump in and trust it will be fun! We met a few people from Switzerland and Austria (who usually attend the festival) but I think it was mostly north African people there, good vibes though!
Hi Courts Meeks well what a blog I felt I was with you can but dream, the friendliness of all the people is amazing even the ballon seller you was quick of the mark by giving back to him he got the message, where has all the people come from wow all to watch the festival it looks amazing to Courts you will have to jump on the back of Meeks and join in the racing lol ,Courts you have always got a huge smile on your face love it you are always so dam happy,Meeks how was the drive you sure are doing very well just watch out for the camels don’t hit one of them for god sack ,what a exciting day you have had thank you for taking me with you ,till next time. I'm so thrilled you felt like you were there with us John, that was the intention to make everyone feel like they were transported to the medina and festival with us! What a big marketplace with suoerfriendly people, what a fantastic festival, superb berber clothing on you (buy it please and wear it not only during a desert storm) plus topclass filming and editing of the festival in action... I`m so happy to see all that in this video...
Thank you so much for the lovely comment, we're really happy the video came across well! We've heard we both look the part with the headwear on from a few people now 😂 Thank you for the complement on our filming too, we took so much footage of the event! There was a lot of time spent on it haha

Ah thank you Julian and lovely to have you along for the ride! Yes the spray job was quite the job and it is still looking good today! Next one will be out on Monday with a 4x4 adventure into the Sahara! See you there!
@@courtsandmeeks Sure will!
Dudes (gender nonspecific), what were the tunes playing in the driving sequences of this and the last video?

You are here 🤣 Loving the videos guys and Meeks you can totally pass for a local with that headgear 👍😁
Oh yeah! maybe we'll have to buy him one of these turbans for general day to day life .
Hi guys and welcome to Tunisia where you can find mountains, deserts, oasis, and sea in one place (idk why this sounds like a JUMANJI intro)
I was thinking to suggest some places to visit since you still there in Tunisia, you should definetely see (you can make this as your check list)
- Sidi Boussaid (Capital Tunis, it looks like greece with its white walls and blue doors, it will give you the feeling that you're in Santorini)
- Carthage (Capital Tunis)
- The national Bardo Museum (capital Tunis)
- Café Panorama (one of the most known coffees in capital Tunis since it has a perfect location to see the whole view of the capital from above)
- Zaitoona Mosquee (Capital Tunis, one of the oldest mosquees of the whole Islamic world)
- Hammamet (very known for its beautiful beaches and hotels)
- Nabeul (one of the best cities when it comes to clean seas and sand beaches, actually some of these beaches are ranked among the top beaches in the entire world like "hammam Ghzez" beach)
- Ribat of Monastir (Monastir)
- Dougga (Beja, Roman Ruins)
- Bulla Regia (Tabarka, Roman Ruins)
- Ancient Sufetula (Sbeitla)
- El jem (2nd biggest amphitheater in the world after the colossuem of Italy, actually it looks the same)
- El menzel (Gabes, narrow streets with doors painted in yellow and decorated with flowers and plants in either sides of the stoned streets)
- Matmata (Gabes, where they filmed some scenes of Star wars, because it looks like the moon surface there with these big holes under the earth in which people actually live)
- Djerba hood (Jerba Island, a very creative Graffiti art drawn in every corner of the streets there)
- Ksar Ghilene (Tataouine)
- Kssour (Tataouine)
- Tamaghza (Tozeur)
(I will keep updating this list once I remember more locations)
Haha we love that is sounds like Jumanji! It certainly is a country that has everything! Thank you so much for taking the time to write these places to us! We have saved them to our map and we cannot wait to explore them! We have just been to Tamaghza and had a great time exploring the oasis and mountains!
Hopefully we will show your country is a lovely place to visit in the coming videos.
Thank you again and we hope you are well?

I am fine thanks, I am a tunisian living in Prague, Czech Republic but I wish I was there in Tunisia to help you when needed, I know how it feels when you cannot speak the local language of a country but try to ask younger generations since they are the ones expected to speak english, the older ones are more into french.
And if you are planning to visit Kairouan (4th most important city in the islamic world after Mekkah and Medina and jerusalem - find more information about it on wikipedia), remember to try "Makaroudh" it is basically a paste filled with dates from the inside and submerged in honey, Kairouan is very famous for these sweets as well as carpets and the Mosque of "Okba Ben Nafaa"
I know it may sound boring to read about a city on wikipedia or google but believe me when I say every single city in Tunisia has its own story and history, exploring it with that knowledge in your heads will make your trip in a whole other level of fun and joy (for example, Kairouan is in the middle of the Tunisian map to keep it away from marine attacks, its position was chosen stratigically during the old wars)
Ah, one more thing, did you know that the name of the continent "Africa" was the name of Tunisia in the early centuries of the islamic period before becoming the name of the whole continent? Its name was "ifriqiyyah". Chocking right ?
That's why I am saying it is a country full of history but need some google and wikipedia researches and you will be astonished about the history hidden in Tunisia.
Enjoy your trip guys, peace 👋 (oh yeah, "salam" which is the arabic greeting means "peace")
we apologize for that kid's behaviour 😢😢🙏🙏

I know right!

I have been down to Douz, but no Sahara festival was on then, just got a camel ride into the Sahara and had a meal in a Bedouin tent 🤣
Saying that, I really don't like animal cruelty so would have probably left. I do also remember seeing camel heads and legs hanging in butchers and trying to not catch a glimpse walking past each time 🤢
Looking forward to the next part.
I will be following your journey,peace !
