I relate myself so much with Simon. Born and brought up in a Christian family, I always thought I knew God .Did everything I knew that was right. My parents taught me how to be a good Christian, and to trust and follow Jesus. As I grew up, when I faced challenges and difficulties, I trusted Jesus would come through for me. But I didn't see it happen, the way I wanted. I became angry and frustrated. I started questioning Him and His Power and Promises. And slowly I became so bitter and I blamed Jesus for every unpleasant things that happened in my life .I lost my faith in Him and hated Jesus. I wanted Nothing from Him. I questioned Him, what enjoyment he gets seeing me struggle? I turned my back on Him and rejected Him to be my God. But one night, while returning from work, walking down the dark alley towards my apartment, complaining and grumbling about the bad road system, I heard a small voice, and it said “ Are you going to blame me for that also ?” When I heard that voice, I rushed to my apartment, I went down to my knees and repented for everything I said. Shahar Isaac (I thought he was related to Oscar Isaac since they kinda look a like😅😂) was absolutely amazing as Simon. And given what Scripture actually says about him, they wrote his character perfectly. He was kind of impulsive, hot-headed, arrogant, a bit of a trickster, and prideful. But, also a natural leader who deeply loved and was fiercely loyal to Jesus and His ministry and Jesus of course, (just like the other disciples) worked in him, molded him, and ultimately transformed him into an amazing man of God. I can’t wait for when Jesus changes his name to Peter and says those special words, “On this rock, I will build my church.” The writing of this show overall is absolutely amazing. I literally almost cried when he walked on water and opened up to Jesus about him and Eden losing their child and his anger toward Jesus for letting it happen. But after Jesus explains to him His purpose for hard times and seasons and how it’s strengthening Simon and Eden’s faith, Simon apologizes, repents and begs Jesus not to let him go. It’s even foreshadowing his eventual denial of Jesus right before He’s crucified because he begs Jesus not to let him go, but he (in a sense) let’s Jesus go by denying him. But, Jesus never let him go and came back for him after He resurrected. It made Simon that much more relatable.
How beautiful your words are. And yes isn’t this the adventure we are on? Staying in relationship with God through good times and bad? Being able to speak of our anger and pain? And finding grace and acceptance as we stay connected? Through our tears and honesty? Love this show.
This was one of the greatest depictions of any Bible story! So many layers-who has not gone through something and struggled to understand? Oh to feel Jesus' loving arms, or just sit at his feet. I felt like I was there!

I didn’t realize that! The foreshadowing, huh! That’s pretty neat. Also, your words are so well put. We all feel like Simon all the time, that’s what makes him a relatable character.
My very FAVORITE scene! I sobbed! Jesus rescuing Simon when he took his eyes off of Him when he thought he was drowning. That’s how I’ve felt so many times w/the storms of life on me: many times it was hard trying to find Jesus when the storm is sooo intense. His hand reaching towards you is reaching for LIFE not death.

Mesmerizing from beginning to end. I've seen these so many times but couldn't stop watching them in succession like this. Shahar is brilliant and so were all his scene partners. This is the perfect look at Simon's struggles before his name change! The Chosen is simply outstanding 'television'!
Additionally, we have been studying how to make a peace maker, and the answer is to be Christlike, so I loved it when Simon was about to heatedly contend with his fellows around a campfire and the anger disappeared and peace is restored by the appearance of Jesus, and all he does is be there and say "Good night", and it is enough to drive out the contention. ❤
One of the things i'm super grateful about in regards to The Chosen, is the fact that it doesnt shy away from the tough times. It allows us to walk with those experiencing the tribulations and pain of life. As they find the LORD in the midst of it. & That in itself is an incredible ministry. Especially when it plays out in the lives of people like Simon. Who i can relate to on so many levels. Shahar is amazing actor who brings Simon to life in a way ive never imagined.

Seeing if Jesus walking on the water it's so beautiful but this gives me chills everytime.
Thank you Chosen, my favorite scenes, all in twenty four minutes. Truly impactful. Shahar and Lara, amazing actors. Thanks to all the casts as a whole.
Then, lastly, it had never even occurred to me to liken Simon walking then falling and then being raised from the water by Jesus to Baptism and no matter how "Chosen" we are by birthright, we will need to be born again through Christ. I only could even realize this because of the dual scenes where on naturally is forced to see the symbolism in purification. I am very glad I happened to watch this particular video today. Thank you for making it available!
I LOVE The Chosen so much and Season 1 Ep 4 and Season 3 Ep 8 are my absolute favorites specifically because of the scenes with Simon. Anybody who has ever felt their prayers and hopes in Jesus were rejected when something bad happened can absolutely relate to Simon's anger. And having personally thrown a hissyfit with God in my past (and he graciously forgave me and received me back) I can tell you those hard times grow you closer to the Lord. But that doesn't mean the faith walk is easy, and that's what the storylines surrounding Simon showcase so well in this show. I cannot begin to count the number of times I have re-watched S1-E4 and S3-E8 & who knows how many millions more times I will watch in the future. 8-)
How am I supposed to get ready for work with tears streaming down my face? These superb, exquisite scenes featuring Shahar's Simon take me out every time. But 3 in a row ... let me mop my eyes again.

Yep looks like I'm going to be binge watching The Chosen from the very first episode again. Don't ever let me go Jesus 🙏 Thank you for all the times you held me like you held Simon Peter 🙏🙏🙏
I love the fact that Simon is struggling in many aspects of understanding following Jesus and understanding the costs of following Jesus and facing all personal problems but still following Jesus. Didn't we have that Simon inside all of us? Well, guess, I admit, I have many Simon moments up to this day.

Shahar does such a phenomenal job as Simon. He is able to express who this disciple, this man was in such a heartfelt way. And yes he is Simon the exceptional!
Another one of my favorite scenes - the glistening tears in Jesus’s eyes and the eventual smile, and when Simon falls to his knees in front of Jesus on the shore. Acted brilliantly.
I love how The Chosen seeks to connect all the Gospels together as one in this series, but also provides possible motives and context behind each of the actions of Jesus and the characters.
❤ Simon is one of my faves, but I've come to love each and every one of them in my daily Bible readings... which I have started doing since watching The Chosen ❤❤❤
watched Matthew and so glad found this one of Simon, so there are others! never realized but sometimes he was self-centered like we can be. all human and flawed like us all but so loved by Jesus. the last scene w/special effects was awesome!
My favourite scene is when he goes to walk to the Savior on the water… it makes me teary eyed every time because it resonates with me so well, it’s just amazing, I can’t wait for season 4 🥺🥺
Best scene walking on water. I saw a clip after it was almost ready and Dallas was watching it and it brought him to tears. Pretty wild for the director PRAISE GOD!!!
I am so obsessed with this show and everyone involved in it. Amazing writing, perfect casting, awesome sets and scenery. It definitely changed the way I read my Bible, and I'm thankful for that. Love this video- I've already watched it like 5 times in the last few days. Shahar is so talented and the scenes are so powerful. I could go on and on, but just... thank you for this show!
I really love the (first clip) insightful realization Simon has on the boat, that it is very good to remember when good things happen, the low parts are just as much responsible for relief being needed! But, I only say that with greater distance and perspective. I keep thinking how many who have experienced greatness, and then when it passes, their faith does too... that scene really makes one wonder what it means to be "chosen". I love that!
When I see the scene of Simon walking on water and Eden in the pool, that is such a strong one, that I believe that the writers had been guided by the Holy Spirit, as so much in this “show”, I’d rather say to live coming Gospel. My the Lord blesses you all and the Holy Spirit guiding you all the way.
Pls, Lord help us find you, to read your word, help us to truly trust you are in control and pls pls never let, me, all of your believers, in Jesus Christ as Lord go from your mist!!! 🙏🙏🙏Jesus, you are Lord and Savior and THE ONLY One FOREVER LIVING GOD!!
I like how they title the moments like: “You just took a nap” It’s so funny to me because instead of “Eden tells Simon the news” or something, it’s like “Bro, you took a nap.” or like: “Simon the exceptional”
This was so beautifully executed. Simon/Eden scene was award winning. It reminded me of being lowered into the bath at Lourdes. Life changing thank you Jesus for all that You give to us.

Thank you for making it available!
Just watching the scenes crying my eyes out
Don’t let me go, Jesus! 😭 Such a powerful scene.
Thank you for your openness in sharing this with us, @bkjackson8092.
How am I supposed to get ready for work with tears streaming down my face?
These superb, exquisite scenes featuring Shahar's Simon take me out every time. But 3 in a row ... let me mop my eyes again.
Tissues always recommended, Kathy.
He is always there, He's our Savior.
We were Simon at times. But Thank u Lord Jesus... Ur love and might is everlasting ❤❤❤
great compilation. simon peter acted out GOD'S LIVING WORD so well being such a great man of faith, human being, dude, first century jew, follower of JESUS. totally love everyone's expressions, reactions. priceless. all of their attitudes waaay back in the day are so like those of all of us today. such outstanding writing! continued blessings.🕊
Thank you for replaying all of the intense moments that Simon Peter endure! Wow just beautiful!
I Love You Jesus 🙏🏻🙏🏻💚♥️💙
Yep looks like I'm going to be binge watching The Chosen from the very first episode again. Don't ever let me go Jesus 🙏 Thank you for all the times you held me like you held Simon Peter
🙏🙏🙏
Thanks choosen team for everything that you are doing for us.
Praying for you all. 🙏🙏
Thanks ,@uttamroy8192. We appreciate your prayers.
I love the fact that Simon is struggling in many aspects of understanding following Jesus and understanding the costs of following Jesus and facing all personal problems but still following Jesus.
Didn't we have that Simon inside all of us? Well, guess, I admit, I have many Simon moments up to this day.
Great Great Scene Jesus walking on water... Shahar plays such a role 👏🏻
It feels so real everytime I watch it ...
The chosen cast is wonderful ✨️
God Bless All Of You 👍🏻👍🏿😇🙏🏼🙏🏿✨️
Shahar does such a phenomenal job as Simon. He is able to express who this disciple, this man was in such a heartfelt way. And yes he is Simon the exceptional!
All the Actor's and Actresses are AMAZING! Praise GOD ✝️🙏🏼✝️🙏🏼✝️❤️❤️✝️🙏🏼✝️🙏🏼✝️
With the accents of Israel
Great! Great, Great!!!!! It's so wonderful!!!! Can't say it enough!!! ❤
Exactly!! I can't even tell you how many times I've gone through the seasons!!
Another one of my favorite scenes - the glistening tears in Jesus’s eyes and the eventual smile, and when Simon falls to his knees in front of Jesus on the shore. Acted brilliantly.
Shahar is so amazingly talented in so many ways. Acting, photography, music and so much more. My absolute favorite in the Chosen!🩵🖤
Absolutely love Shahar as Simon!! He's my favourite ❤❤ Wonderful cast selection!!!
I love how The Chosen seeks to connect all the Gospels together as one in this series, but also provides possible motives and context behind each of the actions of Jesus and the characters.
Shahar is such a talented actor - ultimate respect 🫡
Speaks to our hearts
❤ Simon is one of my faves, but I've come to love each and every one of them in my daily Bible readings... which I have started doing since watching The Chosen ❤❤❤
So glad to know The Chosen has helped you with your Bible readings, @kg5miko.
watched Matthew and so glad found this one of Simon, so there are others! never realized but sometimes he was self-centered like we can be. all human and flawed like us all but so loved by Jesus. the last scene w/special effects was awesome!
I love Simon! Shahar is brilliant! As they all are❤
Faith as small as a mustard seed is all you need.
I can't watch that last scene without crying 😭😭😭
Intense personality at intense moments made me cry intensely... intense faith expressed with intense authenticity 🎉 ... good Job Simon 👏 👍!
Love shahar, my heart and prayers go out to him and his family in Israel .
And yet, I believe even more intense Simon's moments are to come...
He said it! You are the lamb of god! ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
So relatable. Simon is my favorite disciple
We've all got some Simon in us, @Eli-ld7qf.
@@TheChosenSeries😊
I love this show so much!
That scene with Peter and John in episode 7 made me cry. Also the soundtrack is brilliant.

We're glad to hear how it's impacting you, @suzqwest.
Simon’s just SO relatable! I LOVE HIM SO MUCH
I love The Chosen and Simon!!!
I just love this scene, gives me chills everytime!❤️💥🙏
I really love the (first clip) insightful realization Simon has on the boat, that it is very good to remember when good things happen, the low parts are just as much responsible for relief being needed! But, I only say that with greater distance and perspective.
I keep thinking how many who have experienced greatness, and then when it passes, their faith does too... that scene really makes one wonder what it means to be "chosen". I love that!
One of my favorite shots when the three men are sprinting to help with fish and the Music makes it special.
Simon is the best.
That miscarriage scene still bring tears to my eyes remembering my wife's experience
Sahar does an incredible job playing Peter!
Praise the Lord like Simon and Forgive like Peter!
Some of my favourite scenes. Shahar Isaac is absolutely amazing in his role as Simon Peter.
Thanks thanks and thanks much for this amazing portrayal of Jesus Christ life sometimes i can see me through simon❤
I'm now on season 2!! This is amazing
We're glad you're enjoying it, Sam.
@@TheChosenSeries you're welcome, please continue this! May God Bless you all
I adore this show. Now I am praying and peaceful and in the best mental space I’ve been in years. ❤
Simon is amazing!
"We're Gonna Need a Bigger Boat!" Praise the Lord
Simon Peter always makes me cry, because I am so much like him. Brash, weak many times, loud mouthed, reckless. I feel so much of him in me. :'(
what a powerful story, it's amazing seeing it brought to life beyond words on a page. it does inspire me
I like how they title the moments like:
“You just took a nap” It’s so funny to me because instead of “Eden tells Simon the news” or something, it’s like “Bro, you took a nap.”
or like:
“Simon the exceptional”
Doctor, thank you for telling the truth! 🎉
That scene where the net is overflowing with fish is my favorite!
Me too! I don't know why it makes me cry every time! 😭😭😭
Good choice, @kloudermilk4705.
I love seeing his journey like this! More of these!
We'll do our best, @Anfani.
Shahar Isaac is my absolute favorite and I really wish I can hear more from him about this show.
I will miss Simon!!! But I SO look forward to Peter's emergence and Eden's strengthening faith! 🍞🐟
Shahar is an amazing actor!
Simon/Peter is so humanly relatable! God Bless Shahar Isaac he’s amazing and so blessed to be portraying St. Peter 🙏
This was so beautifully executed. Simon/Eden scene was award winning. It reminded me of being lowered into the bath at Lourdes. Life changing thank you Jesus for all that You give to us.
I am Simon. Thank You Lord, for never leaving me. 🙋♀️🙌
