- One of the great things about a visit to st. Maarten is that it's so easy to visit one of the neighboring islands, like St. Barth.
St. Barth, short for St. Barthelemy, is only 8 square miles and easy to explore by car or scooter. Hike to one of the two natural pools, shop luxury brands, discover the beaches, enjoy French and Creole cuisine, or look out for land turtles, which there are plenty of roaming the island.

We just got back from St Maarten yesterday. We had a blast. Saw the biggest lobster I had ever seen at a restaurant on the French side. Next time we will see St Barth. We will be going to Anguilla in a couple months. If you haven't already, please do a video on that.

Hi, I absolutely love your videos! Can you tell me the name of the restaurant/bar you were having lunch at when in St. Barth?
was the boat ride smooth? I want to do a day trip so bad but I've heard both modes of transportation can either be scary (plane ride) or severely boat sick. Any tips/suggestions on this?
It really depends on the time of year, the boat company and the weather conditions. I’ve been on it when it was a smooth ride and other times when I was praying to make it back safely.
Would love to do this whenever I visit Sint Maarten again!
Planning to go to st martin aug 20-26 and wanted to go to St Barth for one night but can’t find information if ferry will be operating at that time of the year. I know you had mentioned in another video a lot of things shut down in August

My mind just went blank but it’s at Shell Beach. Can’t miss it. Right in Gustavia and the only restaurant on that beach.

I don’t know about St. Marteen but St. Barth to St. Maarten or St. Martin is about 45 minutes

Did you need reservations for Shell beach and did they rent chairs?
Also, what are the requirements now in terms of vaccination proof with traveling to St. Barth from Philipsburg?
I am vaccinated and did not have to do a test to enter.
@@TheTravelingIslandGirl we are traveling from the US to St. Maarten and wanted to do St. Barth after seeing your video; we're vaccinated fully as well...so we should be able to ferry over like you showed as long as we have our travel documents and proof of vaccinations?

It’s best to check with the ferry or to look it up online. Requirements change all the time.

How much are the tickets to get on the ferry and which website is the best to purchase the ticket?
