OK, I know the shot of Suzanne Somers is from Magnum Force, but where the heck is the clip of DeNiro from? None of the movies he was in that came out before 1978 aired on CBS
I think the shot of Suzanne Somers is from her CBS television movie "Happily Ever After". As for the DeNiro clip I suspect it is from "New York, New York" but no idea as to when it aired.
@@robatsea2009 So I finally found out after doing some research. The clip of DeNiro is from The Last Tycoon, which indeed was scheduled to air on CBS during the 1978-79 season, but for some strange reason didn't play until 1981
0:06 Love the fact that Carrie aired on October 3 1976 on CBS!!!

Carrie was the shit! Never knew that movie aired on CBS back in the day!!
I recall it way back. I was a little kid then!
Nowadays, the major networks don't air any movies in prime time. It's either reality shows, sex-saturated sitcoms, and violent crime shows.

@@robatsea2009 According to IMDb, New York, New York didn't air on broadcast television until 1982, and even then it was on NBC, not CBS.
Strange
