This is exactly what I will be looking for when I come over... Thank you for your awesome Real Estate Vlogs. I appreciate the smaller lesser expensive places because it will be just me.
Definitely a fixer upper to me, it needs a lot of TLC like scraping, painting, pressure washing, skim coating. Screens over all the windows, new fixtures. This would be the kind of cheap house I'd be looking for if I wanted to remodel 1 to my taste if it was 2 Story.
Seems to be a lot of black mold in that rental. I am sure I was not the only one that saw it and from the looks of it they tried to hide it the best they could.
@@stanleyandjenlyncrum7582 The dirty spots you are talking about isn't and wasn't dirt. Not often you see people walking barefoot on the upper walls or on the ceiling. The black is from them trying to wash off the black mold. Watch the video notice black lines in the seems of the walls that is where the mold is spreading. Also if you watch your video closely you will see water marks on the walls showing they tried washing the walls leaving drip marks.
I thought that too as I was looking at it. Upstairs in the wall to ceiling corners and the seams in the ceilings are all black. Plus, those brick walls outside looked bad, all black. I didn't want to say anything until I saw you mentioned it. But for the price, I could treat that spraying it but then again who knows what's in those walls and the ceilings upstairs that we can't see. For that reason, I would have to walk away and look for something safer for my family. With the humid climate there you are going to find mold, but if you are careful, you can prevent it. Too bad about that place the owner needs to fix it first before trying to rent it like that.
@@jimbobmcdually I have built homes and fixed houses up. I have the eye for that and I also know when people try to hide things or cover things up. A guy was showing a house for sale here in the States was a nice looking home a bit over priced. Yet the home wasn't more then 5 months old and they had the home already up for sale. First question is why sell a home you built your dream to sell it . Then when the guy showed the Basement you could see all the wide deep cracks on the cement floors and walls they tried to patch up and ask why is this a new home and have that then you know why it is for sale and they want to sell it for as much as they can. Oddly the guy admitted he too saw it and was wondering what was really going on and said that is why you hire a private inspector. One I don't need one and two I know it is not something I would want knowing what I know.
I live in Thailand. I live in an older condo in Pattaya (a 5-minute scooter ride to the beach). It is all concrete, so the rooms are quiet (I have a video of the condo). I am on the ninth floor, so the sunsets are great, and I do not have much trouble with mosquitoes or road noise. We have a large pool with a slide. There is a restaurant by the pool; most meals are 3-7 dollars. My rent is $207/month. I have a new wall unit A/C, that I run 24/7 and my electric bill is $30/month. My room is 270 square feet or 30 square meters. It has plenty of room for a single guy.
And here I was under the impression that living in PH costs far more than other places in SE Asia. Wow! Are you about 2 hours south of Manila? Thank you for this terrific info!
Hello Frank, on the Airbnb app search for Mary's Place in Lipa. She has 4 very nice units fully equipped and has special monthly rates. I tried to paste in the details but can't in this forum
Are the bedrooms seperated by concrete boards, sure looks tgat way. Roofline would be problematic for the bedrooms, but if it floats your boat, you are yiur own captain🎉.
So I know that's really good deal . But do you think there would be a negotiation for cheaper if you wanted to put money I to fixing it up. Like painting ealls fixing cracks. Maybe a awning in the back with a bigger outside kitchen. Painting the outside . Stuff like that. Just curious. I still have 6 years tell I can retire early but would like to know. If things like that is possible there.
Please keep the rental videos coming.
We will as we get them. Thanks so much for watching the video 🙂
No worries, Stanley, you got to do whatever is best for you, appreciate your uploads, regarding your location!

I hear you. Many times the owner will subtract upgrades, painting, etc. from the rental price. Thanks for watching 🙂

Black mold is a serious issue.
They must have hid it pretty good. I didn't notice any mold, only some dirty spots that needed cleaning. Thanks for sharing🙂

This could really be a cute place, needs some good old fashioned cleaning and painting, curious about the back yard???
It does need some work. The back in this place is concrete. Thanks for watching 🙂
Thanks for showing 👍👍👍
You are welcome, we appreciate you watching!🙂
New subscriber here. It is nice to see you there living a good life in the Philippines. I envied you my friend!

That is awesome brother! I have been to Thailand several times and love it. Enjoy!🙂
Dude I enjoy real estate and I am coming to see you when I get there! I want in too!
That sounds good. We appreciate you watching the video 🙂
The Philippine rental market is a world of low exceptions and no pride of ownership.
It truly is up to the individual what they want and are willing to pay for. Thanks for watching 🙂

Thanks Jack. We are 70 minutes south of Manila by bus, about 50 minutes by car.
@@stanleyandjenlyncrum7582 Thank you!
I enjoy the rental and home sales videos, let's me know what's available.
Thanks Mike! If you are in the Lipa area send us an email at stanleycrum1@gmail.com. We will help out however we can.🙂
Great rental price… might want to come with some tools, paint and definitely a power washer.
That would be a good idea. Thank for sharing 🙂
and a lot of bleach!
Not bad for 8k pesos a month, some paint and elbow grease, a little work it could be a real nice place.
Absolutely Mark, thanks as always my friend!
Hi Stanley,, looking for a fully furnished 1 or 2 bedroom place for December only. Do you know of any?

Not sure exactly about the walls, but you are right. Everybody makes their own choices. Thanks for watching 🙂
How come you don’t fly your drone over the houses and neighborhood?
I should be doing that Sam, thanks for the heads up.🙂
Very smart! You dont need a lot of money to live a good life in the philippines if you are smart!
I agree, thanks for watching 🙂
Stan, at that price, it's worth spending time and money to fix it up.
I definitely agree. The owner will normally pay for some renovation as well. Thanks!
Is this unit being cleaned and repainted in preparation for a future tenant. I might be intered in this house
This one is already rented, our newest video for 8k is still available. Thanks for watching the video 🙂

Yes, it is possible. They are always open to negotiation for everything.🙂
@stanleyandjenlyncrum7582 that's good.
8k pesos is a lot of money in filipino money..
It definitely is for the average Filipino. Thanks for watching the video 🙂
Needs a lot of work! Negotiate a long-term contract and fix it up the way you want it!
It is a fixer-upper but a great deal for the location! Thanks for watching the video 🙂
