I started with a digital planner and journal last year and I love it! I was testing the waters and was surprised by how much I enjoy it. So easy to import pictures of spreads and create layouts! Can’t wait to see more about how you do things digitally. I also love that I can have all my journals and planner all together in one device.

I'm working with Mary Magdalene, too. I can't commit to either of those decks... I just wish there was a good, solid, down-to-earth deck for her. There is a new one coming out from Blue Angel, but something about it doesn't line up for me with what I feel MM's energy and teachings were (plus, repeated artwork from another recent deck). The Toni Salerno deck has been on and off my wishlist for a while- if Llewelyn does the Valentine's sale, I may just get it. The guidebook interests me more than the deck, and if the deck is matte, it'll be a lot more appealing. I'm actually thinking about doing my book research on Mary Magdalene and then adapting my Elizabeth on Earth decks to use with that energy/divinity. BTW, thank you for getting me started on this Mary path. There was SO MUCH interesting information I have found along the way, and it's actually made me really interested in my ethnicity/ancestry (Italian) and I was absolutely gobsmacked to learn that fact that there was this big movement (Aradia) in that region before Catholicism came in. It's TOTALLY changed my worldview on my ancestry and my roots. You were the spark for that, so I really wanted to thank you. You inspire me so much by sharing your practice.

In December I bought a little calendar for tarot journaling. And in January I startet to fill in one card draws, little spreads, moonology stuff and things I've been learning by working with my cards. I love it so far, and that's exactly the right amount of time and work I can currently put in a journal like this.

I am intrigued by the digital journal and how you get on with that through the year (I'm not very tech-savvy). I worked with The Tarot of the Magical Forest and the Empty Cup Oracle for my week ahead readings. They pair so well together because although aesthetically they are very different, they both have a softness about them which I really needed at the start of the year.

Hi! How are you? I was wondering if you thought the Roots & Wings Oracle would go with Oak Ash & Thorn tarot? I have that tarot deck and the Smoke. Ash, & Ember tarot on the way! Girl I always laugh at how much I feel like you are the voice of my thoughts out loud. I love my Northern Animal tarot & it’s the only animal anything I have ever connected with...& it reminds me of the big crayon boxes from grade school that had such a strong smell too...the textured reminds me of when I would color all dark & would press crayons so hard they’d break lol...but that feeling of the paper & crayon heavily colored...nostalgic. I love it like it’s not even a deck of cards but an actual loyal and loving being...I was looking for an Oracle for it...maybe Roots and Wings with Northern Animal? I really want an Oracle for it.

Does the northern animal deck feel like the spacious tarot, physically? I looooove the way spacious feels when shuffling etc. that sweet swoosh swoosh swoosh. NA spikes like it in this video
Not really (although I can't speak to the new edition). It's much thinner and more flexible than the Spacious Tarot. It kinda shuffles more like an old Llewellyn deck. That's the closest thing I can't think to compare it to. I hope that helps. Thank you for watching. ❤️

They aren't quite the same size, but that's an interesting idea. They dull a little bit with use but I've never had edging totally wear off yet! 🙂 Thank you for watching. ❤️

I make a color copy of the cards at a reduced size and then paste them into my journal. 🙂
