So far so good. The second tutorial works for me also very fine. Many thanks that you have uploaded these classes here. Hard to find any other video at this level of teaching. All the best.
You're welcome. There was a great series of video on YT, but it was all in Spanish, that's why I decided to make an American series. Here is the playlist: ruclips.net/p/PLtrj7dkbby8UWW2HuIDclveKA-ycoKZo5
@@funnzie Right I have seen them too. Thanks for making them in English. I appreciate your work and time invested in it. Thanks for the link too. All the best🙏💐
Fantastic. My hope was these videos would get you up and running quickly...and...let you dive deep into creating your own sounds and styles when you are ready. It is a creative instrument, or just fun on the surface using the presets from Casio.
Thanks for making these tutorials. They are very helpful. As far as Fingered 1, 2 and 3 goes; according to the manual, 1 is normal, 2 doesn't allow a 6th input and 3 allows fraction chords with the lowest note as the bass note.
Sorry, I only know the keyboards I own. Never seen, heard or performed on a 6600. I was told by 6600 owners some of my video's helped, so they must be similar. Plus, I don't own the 7600 any more, and have forgotten most of it.
I don't like the accomp function especially when I'm recording an arrangement. I like to create my own chords. I owned a Casio WK 3500 and began playing and creating music just from reading the overview right out the box, it was very intuitive I could disable the comp and record drum's and all the other instrument parts straight to the tracks with the push of one button and the speakers were awesome.I loved that board. lm very disappointed with the WK 7600.
Use the mixer while in style edit, and mute the chord channels of the style, then save as a user style. You then have the factory styles without the chords, and while in the mixer, you can adjust any other settings of the factory style like; volume levels, panning, effects... and again save as your user style.
When accompany mode is on, but there's no rhythm playing, every chord makes a piano/string combo tone noise. Is there a way to change the default piano/string combo tone to a different tone? Thank you for your video.
Mr Funnzie have purchase a keyboard 7600. I am having trouble with setting up difference rhythms. Is there any information books on how to do this Charlie
Yes, I have video's teaching how to make your own style from scratch. Please go to my channel and click on the "playlists" and you will find 15 videos on the Casio WK7600 of reviews and tutorials.
Yes, in the rhythm/song controller buttons, make sure the [CHORD ACCOMP] is turn on. Then depending on the fingering mode you may play a chord and the name will be in the display at the lower right under the tempo indicator. If full keyboard is chosen for fingering any chord on the entire keyboard will display. If you are using fingered one and the keyboard is split to play chords then the chord will only display left of the split.
I'm just beginning to learn how to use my WK-7600. I'm a very experienced keyboard player who purchased this instrument because of its size and the ability to use presets. One problem I'm having is that the rhythm always seems to be louder than the tones. Is there any way to reduce the volume of the rhythm so it's not louder than the tones?
Press the [ FUNCTION ] button next to the yes/no buttons and scroll down the menu until you find [ AccompVol ] select it and turn the volume up or down using the data wheel. Then to keep these volume settings scroll down further until you see [ AutoResume ] and select this and turn it on so when you power up the Casio it will retain the last setting you had when you powered down.
@@funnzie Thank you for this, the drum volume was bothering me too. Really appreciate your series here, I come back to them as I develop and need to figure out mroe things.
Because it is midi, I think should be possible to bring some other outside rhythms...I haven't try on neither though. Just put the Indian rhythm card to see what happens. Give it a try...
You misunderstand the input chord modes.. Finger1 allows you to play in designated left hand zone. Fingered3 is the same but adds bass inversion, lowest note in the control area is always the bass note. Full range allows you to play across the keyboard range, only recognizing chord changes when you play 3 notes or more.. You do not have to play in the lower octaves as you shown.. I hope this helps you with a better understanding.
Yes I did. I don't understand them at all. As I said in the video, I don't understand why you would play a keyboard this way. It is a total waste of skill, because you can't play the fingering on any other keyboard. The skill of playing the correct chords is not that much more difficult and you can use that skill on ANY keyboard. Don't train yourself to play wrong!
Thank you for this tutorials! I watch them several times in order to know in better ways my keyboard Casio wk 7600. Most of the time I play with the fingering 1, 3, 5. The basic chord to play in this keyboard is in page 160 and page 163 in the Casio Manual. However, we can build some other interesting alt chords.
I did not understand Casio's chording options. Why learn the wrong chord fingering when it is almost the same practice to learn the correct fingering...is what I am thinking....but that is just me. As a music teacher, I could not promote the alternate chord fingering.
funnzie Maybe it is for crazy free style?! Thank you for the Tutorials, I try to find out how I can add rhythm to a song? I watch the first 5 Tutorials but I don’t know how at the moment. My WK-7600 came today ...so i try out a bit after work, but now I finished... thx a lot!

Sorry. I play a WK 1630, and while it doesn't have "850 VARIATIONS ON A FEW BASIC TONES", at least I can change the octaves on both hands and treat the single manual as two seperate manuals. This is great for kids and "wanna' be" musicians, but for serious musicians, this is only good for recording, but lacks a major amount of versatility that you removed when you made the left hand only a "drone" that sets chords, etc. BTW, your pipe organ sound on this SUCKS! If you have someone that knows how to do more with the left hand, let me know. Thank you.
YES! Variations of a bad sample is ridiculous, don't make us work around them, don't put those sounds in there. It must be a big selling point to tell potential buyers there are 800 sounds in there.
The more I watch these videos, the more I believe that Casio expects people of very limited musical ability to be "in heaven" with gimmicks and gadgetry ... ... ... ... ... Nope!
I like to think Casio gives the new musician or (like me) the impoverished musician everything technical they need to make music....except high quality sound. It is very surprising how many musicians I have met that don't care about high quality sound, I don't know why this is, but they will listen to music on a tiny phone speaker and be happy with it....I, on the other hand, would rather listen to silence when the sound quality is that bad. I don't understand, but I accept this as the way of the world.

Do you know how to program the WK6600 to use a 3/4 time signature for drum beats?
