- Rob Burrow said he was overwhelmed and humbled and the support he received at his fundraising game and Jamie Jones-Buchanan said it was one of the most memorable nights of his career.
Devastated for him.and his family, theres plenty of people out there that do drugs and willing poison themselves for the sake of a "good time" and you get lads like this a man with a family, honest and humble facing this bastard disease head on! What a cruel hand hes been dealt!

Warrington fan here but the level of respect I have for Rob burrows is unparalleled. I'm not the biggest guy and he made me believe it was possible to be successful in rugby. I never made it to the level he did. But I always appreciate what he did in inspiring me as a kid. It's sad to see him suffer. But the man is in such good spirits. You can't help but be inspired.

He is fighting it to his best ability and it is so sad to see such a legendary person like Robbie leave us, he is fantastic and will be deeply missed. We all love him, he is such a wonderful man and we will all miss him, all The Rhinos will miss him so much he is such a star and he is always going to be in the Rhinos hearts forever. We all love him. No matter what, your always going to be with us. You can do it buddy, beat it. Dont be worried about this, we all love you Robbie, we will always love you Robbie. A truly wonderful occasion. I hope Rob feels the warmth and support that the RL community wraps around him. This is the greatest game, not just because of what we see on the field, but also what we see off it, exemplified by an occasion such as this. Congratulations to all for showing the humanity that underpins our support. Love and support to Rob and his family - a great man with plenty left to give yet.

Doesn`t matter what club you follow, Rhinos and Great Britain Legend Rob deserves respect from everyone who supports RL. JJB so selfless in making what was his big day into something special for us all. It broke my heart to see Rob so emotional that day. Lovely down to earth guys all of them. Thanks to the old gang for playing. it was so good to see you all again as a team. You were all part of a very important link in Rhinos history.
