This upcoming patch limiting crews is going to make premium time , premium tanks , and boosters regarding crew will become useless. I give it a year before most players on PC will have all maxed out crews . So all these people who use to play to grind crews are going to quit or play less. Again wargaming makes a change and don't think or care about the consequences of an update . Random mm on PC is so bad and Mao changes only favor heavies . All the td spots have been removed . For a company that make an event where you can get tank but u need at least 2 hours a day for a week or 10 days playing this game, I can see how WG can do this.
It's the currency for those tank and judge buy the price tag, you still use them to upgrade all the modules to the top. It's can be as little as less than 1000 to 78k gold to get all tanks to top all the modules. "Nice WG".

It is costly. But if you compare the price to what it would have cost back in Season 1 if you didn't get enough season currency through play. So buying the tanks with gold back then it must be similar price. It's best I suppose if there's anyone who had them already but didn't get them maxed out. If you're not interested in them then just scroll past! They'll do the same thing with the other seasons so if you have one of the tanks like the Swindler and like the style of it but didn't get chance to upgrade it during the event, you have the option of doing that via the shop.

Yikes! This bundle is insane... damn WeeGee, pass whatever you're puffing! That said, you didn't mention the armor on the Magnate being MUCH better than the Indian Pzr, despite being a tier below. Tier 6s are easy prey for this tank, and tier 7 meds will have to aim and use Prammo to reliably hit a hull down Magnate. WARNING - POSSIBLY FAULTY OPINIONS TO FOLLOW: People keep calling them mediocre, but I have all three maxed, and the first two, especially, are pretty good. Regressor WAS good (although not better than its TT counterpart, and def not better than the Alt Proto, it was different enough to be worth playing), but the mobility was nerfed... sadly. Anyway, I think most people have a worse impression of them because when facing them in battles, they were usually not maxed out, and since they were free, they are driven by just about anyone. As an example, the STRV-81 is a pretty damn good tank... but think of all the people playing it when it was given out that had no idea what they were doing. If I went by battle performance, I would be left with the impression that the tank sucked. IMO, Magnate is the best of the three, mainly due to it being a better version of its TT counterpart but A TIER LOWER. Looks good with it's Fallout-esque styling. The Fixer is like an alternate reality Super Pershing. Better Alpha and more P/Wt with differences in the armor enough to make it bounce differently than the SP. Turret is better on the Fixer, and if Hull Down or wiggling while flat, it can bully other meds. Also looks good. Regressor was notable when it was one of two or three tanks with the Stabilization mechanic and had amazing reverse speed... now, it's just a stylized, slightly worse version of the other 2 50 TPs and their Chinese clone (BZ 58 - 2) that has a mechanic that plenty of other tanks now have. Worst Turret and side armor of all 4, and now, not only less reverse than when it started, but less than the others. And while it has good aim time, the base dispersion is noticeably worse than the rest. Looks much less appealing, too. All that said... unless you collect, not worth a 78K Gold bundle to get them and max them out. And even if you have the Regressor but it's not maxed out, I don't think it's worth doing so by just getting the marked up Kitcoins with gold... but I do understand the OCD-like draw for doing so.
The problem is that there are enough people who will pay for these overpriced items for WG to continue their marketing strategy. Same with crates, if no one bought crates, they wouldn't sell them. But, alas.....

I think these tanks have to be expensive. Many people paid for the same amount for them after all. Otherwise people would skip spending their money and gold for season tanks and buy them later for very cheap prices. That's the WG's logic I guess. I don't think the game will die soon. Because the game is very fun and the issues can be fixed by the WG easily. For instance, I believe they deliberately ruin the gameplay by their upcoming rebalances for the tier 10 tanks. Instead, they could have simply rebalanced the broken and op tanks properly. They know people will still play their game and spend their money nevertheless. In the updates after this one, they will make "new rebalances" and so on. In short, most probably they test the players' tolerance to their absurd decisions (eg. new economy sht) or sth. But the game will not die I believe.
the milking phase already started lol, we barely get any new content besides pbr and constant "balance" changes to tier 9-10, all the new tanks that are being released feel half-baked and none have been strong since xm66f etc events are more "p2w" now like say the lottery event gamble your money for balls that can either be 250 gold or up to 50k etc or 10 tanks if you spend enough the previous event just proves my point even more, they took the christmas event for globes and made it a cash dump with the boxes for gold going from 1.5k gold for a 10% chance at a globe to 3k gold for 7% chance not to mention there wasnt even anything new in the event only massive containers with already released and over-saturated tanks the games dying and wg knows it hence the cut-off from more important content and more into milking the stores

Season 1 tanks are junk accept for the Magnate in fun modes. 78,000 gold for all 3 of them fully upgraded, lolz, even if I had a ton of gold and I didn't have those tanks I probably wouldn't even buy all 3 for 10,000 gold.

Kit coins should be included with the individual tanks. It's a complete scam to buy a tank and it not include the top modules.

10k gold is not a great price for a tier IX. 5k gold is a fair price for a tier IX. 2-3k gold if you have to spend more money to upgrade it.
