Helmets shouldn't be on so tight that they don't move at all. So currently helmets already do rotate a bit on impact. You see it all the time in pro races where after a crash the helmet is on a bit crooked. So the extra few millimeters MIPS claims to move seems minimal to the total amount the helmet already moves.
Hold up. The scalp itself has give and moves around on top of the skull which achieves the same thing your helmet does. What’s the math behind this and how much rotational Force does it really absorb? Those rubber bands can’t take much impact and if anything just cause the helmet (along with the natural give of the scalp) to rotate on top of head more than a regular helmet would causing the contact points between head and helmet to shift even further in turn potentially causing a greater impact on head due to a more offset helmet position. Please explain.
Now all we need is engineers to develop N.U.H.T. Not Ugly Helmet Technology. Man bike helmets are UGLY. Fortunately I live where I don't have to wear one.
This is the only Helmet Video that the Model +Transparent to see through the Shell to the Inside's.
I’m making a helmet for my science fair project, and this has helped me so much! Thank you for the information!

yeah but it's still safer. Helmets are one thing you don't want to skimp out on
marketing scam
@@Mike-tg8pv I totally skimped on the helmet....I didn't get one. More $$$ for other cool accessories............
Mike Ferrentino giving us the business!

how is this different from having a helmet that's slightly too big?
A loose fitting helmet will offer uncontrolled and unsupported movement. Mips offers a stable and supported slip-plane.
@Mallard хоть один логичный довод нашел в комментариях)
Helped me with a project thank u
happy to help!
@Damon Dillon Definitely, I've been using kaldrostream for since november myself =)
@Damon Dillon Yea, I have been watching on kaldrostream for months myself :D
Who’s watching this bc the mips video is 18 min of trash content
MIPS IS THE FAKE
