okay so what i understood is there's 2 jeffs. the first version who wants to marry her is the clone. basically he is a experiment already and she's pretending with him. so they take him away and do more experiments and shes also a part of helping those ppl. the other jeff is the one who's actually married to her. but while staying with the clone she somewhat feels for him so she helps him run away in the end. but like jeff says you can interpret the song any way you want haha
