It's also just a script writing technique that I've been implementing for a couple years now that if a lesser known character isn't going to be in a video for too long, there's no reason to name drop them. A big part of my content is to make it digestible to newer fans and overwhelming them with a bunch of names can be a bit much so I can make quick little descriptive jokes like "alien dragon". Same reason I didn't namedrop Feilong in this video.

Kind of a shame the Iron Destroyer didn't get to do anything. The specialized Iron Man suits are pretty much always doomed to fail--"Tony says 'I got a suit for that' and then beats up the villain" is less effective as a plot device than "oh no! There goes Tony's suit! Now they need to find another way to beat up the villain"--but if the process of him making the suit is part of the story then it seems like he should get to do more with it.
I mean, that's basically what happened with his Godbuster and E-Scape suit. They were the big pay-off suits to the overarching storylines and they rightfully kicked ass because of it. Hell, even the Sentinelbuster did its job insanely well.
Tony Stark is essentially Marvel's Worf. Worf is considered as a great warrior, not because he prevailed against opponents, but because he constantly manages to survive against opponents orders of magnitute stronger than him!

@@callmestorm23 mcu messed up with iron man just like hulk in my opinion, people keep talking about hulk but I think mcu mishandled iron man too in powerscaling department, russo said that nanotech was his peak and I was like no there were still so many things they could have done with him, he could have made uru metal armor or thor buster armor as he could have gone to nidavellir to construct an armor out of uru metal in mcu, he could have developed escape to make godbuster or virtual armour and right now in captain america 4 they are showing a celestial corpse this could have been an opportunity for tony to make celestial buster armour in mcu but they killed him too soon and the last time we saw him in endgame he couldn't even beat cull obsidian and was trying to wrestle Thanos without a helmet mcu is a shit show when faithfully adapting heroes power levels in my opinion.

I feel like at this point, seeing iron man's suits and mecha get ripped apart in glorious fashion is as big of an appeal of the character as the suits themselves..

@@callmestorm23 mcu messed up with iron man just like hulk in my opinion, people keep talking about hulk but I think mcu mishandled iron man too in powerscaling department, russo said that nanotech was his peak and I was like no there were still so many things they could have done with him, he could have made uru metal armor or thor buster armor as he could have gone to nidavellir to construct an armor out of uru metal in mcu, he could have developed escape to make godbuster or virtual armour and right now in captain america 4 they are showing a celestial corpse this could have been an opportunity for tony to make celestial buster armour in mcu but they killed him too soon and the last time we saw him in endgame he couldn't even beat cull obsidian and was trying to wrestle Thanos without a helmet mcu is a shit show when faithfully adapting heroes power levels in my opinion.

@@wargeneralbonez don't know about spiderman but I think iron man is being poorly treated with respect to his victories both in mcu and comics, like in mcu from civil war onwards he didn't won any fight and same in comics he has made dozens of buster armors and he is still losing despite doing well against hulk in his old classic armors back in the old school comics, it's a shit show honestly.
