  • There are two types of speciation which illustrate how the process occurs. Allopatric speciation occurs when there is a physical barrier separating individuals in a population, causing them to be subjected to different selection pressures, driving a shift in allele frequency in their gene pools. Sympatric speciation occurs within the same habitat, where mating preferences and/or disruptive selection occurs.

Hi, is it possible to do a video on artificial selection and inbreeding as it's also part of 20.6?

She has made an overview of this chapter : ruclips.net/video/Vj3micfREbs/видео.html and a video on maintaining biodiversity : ruclips.net/video/Qd3DfXjj0lE/видео.html. these are really useful to go through if are looking for a great way to re-revise what you learnt quickly. Most of the biodiversity chapter is just memorization so just go through your textbook as search on RUclips how to do all the equations such as Simpsons diversity index

I believe she is going through the most difficult and problematic topics first. You should watch all her videos up till now because they all explain an easier way to understand the topic she is talking about

Yes absolutely, that's the idea since I won't be finishing the spec anytime soon (being in full time teaching!) But please do watch the videos so far covering what I've seen as the more complicated topics atm. All the best for your mocks! :)
Thank you both for the support :)

Hi miss goodnight, this video was indeed helpful again.
Not sure if you have a social media platform but i wanted assistance with this plan and design lab.
I would send the observation for it.
Wanted to know how to approach it and a possible procedure for the lab.
A young farmer, wanting to increase the yield of his tomato plants using a greenhouse, increased the carbon dioxide concentration available to plants to 0.05% and maintained the temperature in the greenhouse at 28°C. Plan and design an experiment to assist the farmer.
Thanks miss any help would be greatly appreciated.
