Hey there Critical Rider! I live in the U.S.A... just out side of Chicago if you're familiar. I just bought a 2015 FJ-09... love your video's / they are very detailed and helpful... I believe the FJ-09 and MT-09 are exactly the same but not 100%. After watching this video I don't think I could go to a handlebar mounted GPS... just having a hard time finding this same one you reviewed here in the U.S.A. Just a little concerned about buying something for a MT-09 and hoping it fits my FJ-09.
Hey Chris. I'm in Chicago this week, what a coincidence! As for the GPS support, I've updated the eBay link on the video description. It says it ships worldwide so I guess you can get it sent to you. I think it will fit the FJ-09, the differences should be on things like emissions, reflectors, blinker size... not on the windscreen mount. But... I'm not 100% sure, of course, don't quote me on it :-D And thanks for the kind words!

I have a Tracer by my selve...I Looked exactly for this Kind of GBS mout! Does it also fit with the Puig wind shield you have? Very good without the screen. The stock screen is garbage. My XSR 900 is even better than the Tracer without screen. I certainly recommend no screen or a short one if you're riding around town.
Dear, I just bought the same Gps mount (the upgraded version) and I was wondering: You're speaking of using longer bolts then the stock ones to fix the mount to the bike. In the package I received 4 new bolts, at this point I can't say if they are longer than the original because I didn't mounted it yet. I've never tried or even seen that model in person, only in pictures, so I'm afraid I can't say if it's better or not. Maybe somebody can comment with their experience...

It fits with the Puig, but not with the stock screen
They should’ve made it even a bit thicker and supplied you with longer bolts for the set up. That probably would eliminate all the vibration
There's a new version already (v3) with a kink in the middle that's supposed to be even stiffer. I haven't tested yet.

Are you happy with the tomtom after the change from the garmin?
Yes, it was flawless during the trip. I am a Garmin fan, but this TomTom is a better product than the Garmin.

No it doesn't. I believe they're making a new model for the 2018 Tracers.
