Great honest demonstration and review. Your confidence and presentation in front of the camera goes from strength to strength. The enthusiasm and dedication is clear to see. Good luck with the subs top prize for a lucky winner. All the very best Pete 🎣tight lines
What a Friday evening it's been. Get home from work ready for the weekend, tuck into a big pudding, chips, peas and gravy from the chippy and there's a new FTF video ready to go while I tuck in. Cheers BB!
Not able to join Live today. Good review of a very sensible priced decent Margin Pole. It would have been nice to the Pole work its magic on a 6 -7 Lbs Carp. My issue is not with the MTX Margin V2 Pole but with its bigger Brothers especially the MTX 4 V2 16 M pole and to a lesser extend the MTX 3 V2 16 M Pole. Both these 2 Poles are virtually unfishable at 16 Meters and very cumbersome at 14.5 Meters. However getting backn to the MTX Margin Pole, this would be top of my list for Value for Money and very usable. Thanks BB.
Another tip top and honest review BB I’ve got my eye on the MTX2 V2, I’m thinking it has the strength to work the margins but a bit more length when I need it (and when couldn’t we all do with a bit more length😉🤣🤣) What’s your thoughts? Should I go for it or go for a MTX Margin V2 and a 16m MTX?
Haha! The length always helps mate! If it were me, and money wasn’t an issue, I would always have a 16m pole and a dedicated margin pole if I was serious about my fishing… I have the MTX3 v1 with the torque margin pole… Daz has the MTX5 (which arrived yesterday!) and the MTX Margin and Matt has the Superium X90 with the Superium X Margin… now that Superium X Margin is an absolute weapon! Loved it when I reviewed it last weekend… video to go up soon! 👍🏻 BB
Good honest review as always. Unlike some around sadly. No hidden agenda with BB just a love of fishing. I've got to get down to Tunnel Barn at some stage it looks epic.
Awesome video, would be good for you to compare the V2 mtx poles Vs the older ones. Just because I know you rated the old ones. And not sure if you thought it would be worth comparing this pole to the new offering from angling direct. Or is that going to end predictably and it won't be good enough to compete with entry level MTX and superium poles.
Hi what a great video mate. Basically im thinking of getting this pole. Ive got the older mtx margin and debating weather go for one of these as it longer but more for fishing out infront as i struggle fishing more then 11mtrs anyway as my backs not the best. My question is i aslo have the mtx1 13mtr pole which im actually thinking of selling as i just never need those extra sections and wondered if this pole is stronger to fishing for silvers and bigger fish?
Cannot understand why they bothered to make a version 2. I have the 8.7 metre version 1 and it is bomb proof. The version 2 is heavier aswell. I use the margin top kits with a short 3 section on my MTX3 to really beef it up. All sections fit. MTX margin V1 8.7m=Weight @ 8.7m 680g Price=£319.99 MTX margin V2 8.7m=Weight @ 8.7m 728g Price =£349.99
@@FirstTimeFishing I think they are now using cheaper carbon sheet and simply reinforced the joints to make up for the loss in stiffness. Check out this review on the new MTX4. Pretty damning stuff. ruclips.net/video/BcAXTdxfaBc/видео.html&lc=UgxKrlszs4A-xqhS8hp4AaABAg.9njGQGIwn599nlXxFJ-3OQ
Haha Peter! You’re spot on! We spent 4 hours trying to target the bigger fish, in the rain… and it just didn’t happen! I tried for you all Peter, and failed on that aspect… but I hope the balance and play in the hands came across on video for you 🤷🏻♂️ BB
@@FirstTimeFishing yes mate i love your reviews and it's nice to see something positive said about the new mtx range I've got the mtx3 v1 and I've caught 1000s of pounds of carp on it and never had anything break or let me down bb!!

Is that Matt in the background? Great review BB. 😊
Haha, yes Say... the cheerleaders! In all fairness though, don't know what I'd do without them! BB

Well Peter... I'm reviewing the MTX5 in a few weeks... so that will be interesting! But loved this margin pole! BB
Love the matrix gear

Great content again bb 👍
Cheers Gareth, appreciate it mate 👍🏻 BB
Thanks for the Video - how does this compare to the Torque Margin that you have also reviewed? Just wondering what you get for the extra £'s?
Sod winning the pole the real prize is getting to fish the doubles match. That would be sweet.

It’s definitely built for the bigger fish in the margins and feels stronger than the MTX1… I thought it was a great pole Martin 👍🏻 BB
Fantastic thank you so much for your reply. I've actually ordered it now afew days ago and should be able pick it up in a couple of days hopefully

I think it's all stiffened up and is definitely balanced better which made it feel light and easier to fish with... BB

Answers in your question, 30 quid dearer .
Does this pole come Pre-elasticated, and if so, what strengths??
Awsom bb

Bit of a film that didn't make sense testing a margin pole on tiny f1s??
